i really dont know what EiN is doing anymore...such a letdown

No idea who the rest of the headliners might be

So the rumors for LP in Mad Cool and Nos  didn't got confirmation.  I realy thought this was as a lock

Could Muse save NOS at this point?

after losing Green Day and Linkin Park...i dont know how can headline those 2 days

Save? No

i am a massive fan, saw them 5 times

but they dont sell like they used too, not as relevant as they used to be.

solid name

but doesnt save the festival.
green day or linkin park would have done that.
shame if they cant get any of those.

But what i find it strange.  I hear everywhere ( not only on the internet)  that LP were locked on the card

Yet here we are without them.    I would not mind for Muse (since they are my favourite Band,  but i don't belive that EiN will book them after the last time they brought them, they didn't sell good)

probably one of the days will have co-headliners

BBK and Mad Cool are both silent, so it is hard to predict anything at this point.

Maybe some co-headliners like someone suggested here (like LCD + Justice). Or one of the missing powerpuff girls from Primavera Barcelona.

As you said, everyone has their own personal preferences, and that’s okay.

I find myself avoiding the main stage at the last few editions of NOS Alive. The big crowd of fans from major bands usually ruins my experience. For example, in 2018, I had a great and peaceful dinner while Pearl Jam were playing, after their fans completely ruined the Jack White concert by constantly talking and making noise. But then I had a great MGMT show, probably my favorite of that year.

For instance, I watched Linkin Park twice: at Rock in Rio in 2008 (and really enjoyed the second band of the day, a group called Muse), and again at Rock in Rio, I think it was in 2012 or 2014. I don’t see any reason to watch them again in a version I consider worse than the ones I’ve already saw.

That year, many concerts stayed in my head, but MGMT really left a mark, I was exhausted from the 3 days of the festival and their concert was like an extra energy.

Can anyone see any other names?

Muse might be one, green day if they have them they should just announce it. Green day already has announced all their european tour at this point so why the hold?

The powerpuff girls or the LCD+justice combo will sell beyond horrible

Even olivia is not selling that well

They come later anyway don't they? I could well be that part of the last was a guess. Looking at dates they won't be doing these festivals. They aren't doing back to back and they wouldn't have to do play either I believe.

If Linkin Park are anything like the last time they played Rick Werchter then you have dodged a bullet.

Granted - I do agree although Muse are great live it’s just another name that most of us have seen numerous times previously

Agree with LCD, Sabrina and Chappell would sell much faster than Muse and Green Day nowadays...

Well, last year Arcade Fire came out of nowhere, I guess this year something similar will happen.

Maybe they are waiting to announce with mad cool / BBK

and we dont know if the whole tour is announced, they announced 2 dates this week alone, more might be coming.

If they have green day in the pocket they should release it asap.

After the backlash of not getting linkin park and the not so well received olivia they need a good name to start selling

How do you know how much she is selling?

just speculation?

you work in ticketline/everything is new?

i work in a promoter in portugal too and nobody has acess to pure numbers of how the event is selling, just us, through ticketline manager.

and ticketline/venues obviously

Maybe 2 from: Sam Fender, Depeche Mode, Twenty one Pilots, Eminem, Greenday, New Order, Paramore, Metallica.

Subheadliners: Fontaines DC, Jonny Marr, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Libertines, Prodigy.

And maybe i guess incorrect on all of them, then i have no clue whatsoever

no hype whatsoever on social media , even though i think she was deserving of headlining. there are still tickets available or combo day tickets. If she was a huge name she would at least sellout the day 1 tickets at this point.

Depeche Mode, Green day and maybe Eminem are the only ones big enough to headline NOS.
