Ticket tips and Tricks for 2025 festival

Only two of us trying for our tickets so will have 2/3 laptops on different browers, a tablet and 2 mobiles trying one of which on 4G/5G. 

 

Will leave a couple of these in the queue and probably bash refresh on everything else.

We won’t know for sure until at least the coach sale.

 

The only thing to go on now is the Sam Fender sale when I successfully joined the queue, with different queue IDs, in each browser on my laptop. And one of the latter ones to join was the one to get through.

 

When Ticketmaster uses a queue you need to login, which stops this. Surely it’s too late for See to say everyone now needs to login?

Unless you need your Glasto registration to even join the queue?

given the balls up with registrations last year id have hoped they learnt some lessons and did it well in advance ..... im thinking now is too late so wont be a login sale .

By different browsers do you mean Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc - that you get a different queue ID for each one, but not for multiple tabs in the same browser?

 

Really seems like a dumb move to change the process, sells out quickly every year and those who make more effort get more chance. Add in the Oasis shambles and moving to a queue is just bizarre.

Is it not possible that any change is a direct result of looking at what happened with the Oasis sale, and identifying ways that they (feel that) they need to change?

 

Remember that this technology is being made available across currently most (and probably ultimately all) See tickets sites, not just the Glastonbury one.

No idea on that, I'm just baffled that they would change the process, I don't see any pros to it (the same amount of people will be moaning about not getting tickets, and the Oasis sale showed a queue gets just as much criticism) but there's the potential of the crowd changing for the worse, which Emily even commented on.

yeah I kind of agree , although now I think its more likely to happen than not .... the complaints will be there but will differ in subject matter ... id imagine the be lots complaining they'd been identified as bots for example , others not complaining that they couldn't get in the queue as the servers creak ...

Thats just it. As another poster replied if theres a different system and it works for some it'll have been a great idea and whoever doesnt get tickets it'll have been a disaster of an idea to change.

 

There's no real way they win this however it's approached.

Registration will close at 5pm (GMT) on Monday 11th November, after which there will be no opportunity to submit/edit a registration until after the November ticket sales.

as in, is there a reason to not have 15 or even 45 chrome incognito windows open (as many as I have the screen size to monitor)? If an incognito window gives a unique session ID?

I think you will have a separate session for a standard chrome window and an incognito window but any additional will share cookies/cache so max of 2 sessions in this instance. I have heard that you maybe able to log in with different profiles in different chrome windows to potentially create more sessions but never tried this myself (yet!)

This worked for me on the Sam fender sale
