Surely 2 as they can’t recognise difference

If you have one device going through your Wifi (and home router) and another connected through you phone's mobile hotpot (or you are using your phone's browser), you will have 2 different IP addresses. If you aren't sure, you can check your public IP address using https://whatismyipaddress.com/

Given my lack of success in the last two sales this news just takes the stress out of it for me. I shall just sit, stare at the screen and await my fate, rather than frantically refreshing every five seconds or so.

 

Do we think that this will mean the ticket sale will take longer this year.

Actually on second thought VPN won't work at all because there will be people all over the country using that IP 😂

Each device within a household shares the same ip address (but they all have different local ip addresses)


seetickets are pretty hot on detecting vpns.

Do we know if we'll have to decide first between Wed or Thu coach and then join the queue, or if the queue is the first thing in the process and we decide the departure date afterwards?

Could you potentially still have others in the queue for you? As presumably you won't put the reg details in til you're at the front of the queue.. They'd just have to be very kind people willing to sit for hours. 

 

Or do we log in at the point we're put in the queue?

You can have as many people trying to help as you like … no requirement to login anywhere

I reckon yes - I will have 4 non Glasto goers in the queue for me from different locations. If I get tickets all 4 of those people then drop out of the queue, so it potentially goes down quickly.

Judging from the screenshot and Sam fender sale you don't actually know your position in the queue. Just have a green progress bar which is probably wholly inaccurate
