In theory, yes. The main thing to remember is that you have not secured the tickets until payment is made. Don't think you've got 10 minutes if you get through, it could sell out as you are entering your details.

Jeez! Does it not lock you in for 10. If for any reason you cannot complete in 10 mins, will it not then release the tickets back into the pot?

I think the tickets are held for you for 5 minutes once you reach the final payment screen (there's a countdown timer), but not before.

On the GF website the example page has  a countdown timer on the payment screen that suggests they are held. On the example I think it says 5 mins 46 seconds.
It may simply be the remainder of the initial 10 mins. Whether they are held at that point is rather ambiguous but they are not secured til payment is succesful.

The problem is, we don't know.

 

It's been many years since we went into a sale with this many unknowns. Probably 20 and people weren't obsessing over it the same degree back then.

This may explain why I haven't got through for myself since 2019.

Think it's just going to be me through the home wi-fi on the work laptop and one mobile on mobile signal with wifi turned off as I'm now really paranoid about triggering something and shutting myself out.

Zig we only have 5 in my group. We're not trying for coach but if you want the last spot for general you're welcome to it. We should have about 10 people in the queue for us. Message me if you want it.

Use case this morning, I missed out on Everton - Liverpool tickets following the queue. 

 

I logged on at 9.40 for a 10am sale, then went into the waiting room. But then I went for a shower, returning only to move my mouse a couple of times. Bot behaviour? Or flagged as a non-standard user already and never had a chance whatever I did? Guess we'll find out on Sunday!

Did you actually get a "suspicious behaviour" message?

 

Or just stayed in the queue and it didn't go anywhere?

 

Or kicked out of the queue with no explanation?
