Did anyone get the all tickets allocated message, before the final sold out message?  Didn’t attempt the sale as I wasn’t going for coach tickets

From what I am readi ng the 'all allocated' was only seen by those through to the booking page not those in the queue.

I saw it, while staring at my lovely two bars

I got that, but it goes straight to SOLD OUT on the queue page. If you are on Seetickets, like before, you get all allocated but there are still failed transactions until fully sold out ?

so close but no prize!

I tested copying one url to a different browser... that didnt work. It flagged as already in the queue you must resfresh and rejoin the queue. Im guessing that may have been because my session was still open on the original browser.

Does sound like close the other and refresh that one 'should' work............................ but rather than close the first one click 'home' and leave that window open and then try the new browser.
If that fails close the new browser, go to GF seetickets and it 'should' then put you right back in the queue where you left off.

Should

Sorry I am so busy with work and new babies. Is a 'back arrow' or 'refresh' the best bet if it freezes/ goes dead in the final info entering stages?

Am I right these are the only definite tips:

1. Log on before 9am/ perhaps as early as possible

2. Only have a few tabs open or it blocks you (3 maximum?)

3. Do not refresh ever

4. Use your 4G phone

1. Logging on early appears to have zero effect on your place in the queue but definitely get in before 9

2. No sure way of knowing if extra tabs has any effect. People got through with a couple open and others got through but were locked out of the booking page. The risk is yours but I certainly wouldn't risk it if you only have one device.

3. Only refresh if you're on the booking page and you have problems or you get the 'all tickets have been allocated' message.

4. No solid evidence that the system favours one type of connection over another.

Thank you.

Just checking 3. Would you refresh and not 'back arrow' in this scenario?

Yes but it also seems like you can use one other device on wifi (if you have it) as well as phone on data  as some got through on that

I'm currently in Fuerteventura and will be on Sunday, is it looking likely if I mange to get lucky and get to the payment screen that I'll get a rejection message for being overseas and with a UK bank/credit card?

I think it’s only if your bank flags it as suspicious behaviour for you.

One of our gang had the “All tickets allocated” message after taking the Wednesday option and trying to submit reg details at around the time Wednesday sold out, no amount of back buttons or refreshing could get her back to anywhere that could get into the Thursday tickets. I guess Sunday won’t have that issue as there’s no options - just tickets or no tickets.

We also had someone kicked out part way through the queue for suspicious activity via the bot checks, maybe he was adding too many open tabs or some other tinkering which triggered something, or the system took exception to his work VPN I don’t know.  I think he had a low number of bars anyway so was maybe just seeing if he could improve anything.

My advice, stay well away from refresh when you are in the See Tickets site! Back and resubmit always been the approach. I refreshed once by accident and got put back to holding page, so wouldn’t risk being put back in the queue.

it seems if you have one device thats got multiple tabs/windows going and if youre gonna get through then you should close everything else so it doesnt flag you. Figure theres enough time to do that if you get to about 75% there and its within the first 30 mins of the sale

2. When you say locked out at the booking page. Are you suggesting they were locked out because they were flagged or a loading error?

My son is on a yacht in the middle of the Atlantic. If he tries for tickets on Sunday can he use his uk debit card or will it know he is not in the uk and have to use a credit card?

No absolute rules on this, it will entirely depend on the bank and/or credit card provider and what their automatic triggers are for fraud detection/prevention.

As suggested above, it may be worth calling the bank to notify them he's out of the country and smooth things over in advance -- they might be able to ensure the transaction doesn't get flagged.

4. Use your 4G phone

1. I would try to log on to hit the pre-queue waiting room as early as possible; there is no evidence to show this helps, but at least you know you did everything you could. On Thursday the pre-queue waiting room opened about 1 hour before the sale and showed a countdown timer. I'd aim for 8am.

2. No need for multiple tabs; each tab will share the same queue ID. So I'd advise not to bother with multiple tabs as it'll only cause you possible hassle. Multiple browsers or separate browser sessions (i.e. incognito + non-incognito) appear to get separate queue IDs, but the effect on whether the system sees you more likely as a bot is unknown. Personally, I wouldn't risk it for the marginal advantage it might give you, but it's totally up to you.

3. There is no need to refresh once you are in the pre-queue waiting room and/or the actual queue. Instead of refreshing, you should utter some affirmations of patience and/or have a little pray to the Glasto gods while you're waiting for the green bar to grow. If your F5 finger needs something to do, you can refresh this site, which will almost certainly be having issues itself -- it was on Thursday!

4. There is no body of evidence that queueing on your phone is any better than queueing using any other kind of device, but I would definitely advise queueing on your phone on 4G/5G/whatever regardless in addition to whatever broadband/wifi device you might be using. That definite counts as a different queue ID and comes from a different IP address, which is definitely giving you another shot.

The very best of luck!
