£29 membership then £19.95 a month. I'd never do it but I'd like to know if their claim is true.

Gimme your money and I promise I will let you have a link.

Gimme your money, guarantee I won't just take it and send you nothing or a useless link.

They are simply playing to the fear that a new system makes it harder than ever to get tickets and hoping enough mugs will fall for it to give them a nice earner.

If folks cannot see how much of a scam this is then they will get what they deserve.

Was there a warning about the back of the queue?

Yes, here it is, however I have seen numerous people who logged in after and were successful. None have said they already had a place in the queue so unsure if they did.

Managed to get through twice, once at about 18:14 and again about 18:20.

First device that got through, chimes played to notify me and then took about 30 secs (felt like forever) to switch from the page with the progress bar to the page with the two buttons. Once I clicked Wednesday, I was able to input details very smoothly. Noticed that they seemed to be using some sort of shopping cart system as rather than asking me to input card details it instead asked if I wanted a code sent to my phone for a presaved card checkout. I chose to type out card details instead but this seemed like something new. Checked out and confirmed by about 18:16

Second device the chimes played again but this time it took much longer to switch to the page with the two buttons. By the time it did I clicked Wednesday again and this time got a "tickets have all be allocated" red bar message. Few refreshes and managed to get more reg's typed in but the "allocated" message was becoming more frequent and eventually I gave up.

I am getting the impression that those who logged on after 6pm had already visited the url, got in the queue, closed it down and then come back after 6, opened a new browser that picked up the cookies from the one they closed hence joining in random places.

I know it saves the cookie etc as I wanted to try something on one window but as I had checked the queue with that browser just after 5pm it remembered it and gave me the same queue ID when I went in later on.

See the post above, they got in again. Most of us never got in at all! 🙍🏻

Banks are the ones who choose if a code is sent not the person making the purchase.

Not sure why you have quoted me saying something I have never posted, this was from a post I quoted?

Someone posted this on Twitter... if that's accurate then they've no hope!

Just to come back to this.  I checked mine while I was queuing and it told me a time of 4am the following day.  My progress bar moved from 2 bars to about 2 and half during the sale.  I expect if you were to check this variable tomorrow (view page source, search for servicetime) you should see an accurate estimate of the time you'll move from queue to payment page.

The queue bar you see isn't actually updating according to your position in the queue, but at a rate set at the time in this variable.

Looking at the first post you quoted they say that they had multiple devices all trying and got through on two of them.
Not that they got through twice with the same device

That's awful. So totally predetermined at 9am then?

An easy explanation, I saw other posts on a popular Facebook group, I don't like to share what isn't posted on here. 😊

My initial comments were based on this post from elsewhere....

Joining the pre-queue page

I loaded the page at different times on each device; one when the countdown timer started (i.e. 1 hour before), one half an hour before, one ~5 minutes before and one at 6pm exactly. Each of my devices that I joined before the start progressed from two bars, albeit painfully slow, except the device that joined last. This is pretty straightforward; join at any point in the hour preceding as instructed.

Is this not effectively the same thing though?

I’d have thought similar but not the same.
One is based on the timer counting down to an estimated arrival time but does not take account of people in front leaving the queue.
The other would be based on how many people were in front of you

But surely the estimated time changes depending on people dropping out in front of you, otherwise you'd have empty time slots on the tickets page?

That's what a queue is....

The thing is, I was on the page an hour before, with the countdown timer.  I did not refresh at all and the page changed at 6pm to the progress bar, but the calculation was that I would wait 10 hours.  In what way is it a queue if people who were ALSO doing the same were allotted a time of 2 minutes.  It's not a queue but a random number generator in that case.

That makes sense. Has anybody checked this more than once as they moved forward to see if it changes or is it absolute?

They are a legit company. Offer a lot of discounts to festivals which don't sell out / put on parties. I imagine they will know someone close to farm or at see tickets

No idea why is says you posted it, I replied to you but quoted one part of the other persons post which is untrue - so I would take all of the rest as being untrue as well.

Up to you though, try a window opened and entered into the queue after 9am - personally I will trust what the people running the sale say about where that puts you in the queue.

As one of the Moderation Team I am aware of a post you made which was removed. Curious as to why you haven't joined the "legit company" instead of offering money to anyone who would get you a ticket?

I no longer no what to believe! My thoughts were primarily based on this which was shared to my groups chat.

That just says they had 3 devices all in the queue at different times and all before the sale started as 6pm 'exactly' is debatable depending on what clock they used - the sale started about 1 second after 6 according to the website I use for times fpor things like this.

Does not suggest any joined after the sale started.

Maybe I wil try one joined after tomorrow to see what it does as I have enought devices to be able to potentially sacrifice one that way................ but one device gives one queue place so will not answer the question unless it gets in.

Would be very surprised if it became even broadly accurate until you got a decent percentage of the way through the queue. Like 75% plus, by which time I'd be preparing and not buggering about looking at stuff like that.

That's kind of why I bumped the post, tbh, the only way to truly know is if people look at the variable tomorrow and compare multiple experiences to real world results.  It just didn't feel like there was any agency in the whole thing.  I was allocated a wait time of 10 hours at 6pm when the timer updated, others were allocated a wait time of 2 minutes in the same circumstances.

I'm not saying their Glasto link is legit - I'm saying I know they do discounts to festivals, as someone has previously commented on this thread 🙂 - I'll be trying the normal way!

I must have missed something - how do you access this info?
