So after reading all this there is no tips or tricks except logging onto page before 9am and hoping for the best?

Put a pair of underpants on your head, a pencil up each nostril and say "Wibble" at the very moment enter glastonbury.seetickets.com

That will 'guarantee' you a position in the queue.

If this doesn't work then you had better run for the hills.

Yes wasn’t the 2012 fallow year chosen because of too many portaloos being needed for the London Olympics?

Would be annoying if they take a fallow next year and then have to take another one due to the euros.

So hopefully they’re either confident that the portaloo situation can be worked around, or they scrap the 2026 fallow year and do 2028 instead.

Wrong thread, but Portaloo was the term the media used to get attention, when the issue was more widely around resources generally (which would include Portaloos, but also Trackway, Fencing, Security Guards, Generators, etc).

The festival will be well aware of what major events are taking place so presumably they've considered this. Like most people I don't want to say it out loud, but I suspect other more local issues have led to this timing.

Hi all, I've 2 empty slots across 3 groups and 1x1 empty slot in another on my super sheet for the sale tomorrow. If you're interested in joining please feel free to message me directly and I can link you to our WhatsApp and a link to the google sheet.

You would be better posting this in this thread -

Yes, I’d agree

Interesting choice of words, anyone able to fill me in? (By PM if it’s not something you want to say publicly)

The Queue ID is assigned when you join the waiting room, but your place in the queue is assigned when it starts.

Yes, this.  As soon as you join the waiting room you get a "QueueID" at the bottom of the window.  This QueueID is then given a random placing when it starts.

do you believe it is random or is there a weighting given based on the factors described in that big informative post regarding fingerprints etc? Cause my impression is it's pretty lax and more queue positions will be fine as long as you don't take the piss (even on the same IP)

Musing how the system now operates, Queue-IT could record the IP addresses and unique user identifiers it allows through to See each year and give these a lower priority (higher queue number) the following festival. It could even bar them from ever getting through 😮

IP addresses are mostly dynamic and change
