Ticket tips and Tricks for 2025 festival

one hack taken from Reddit:

1 - download Firefox 2 - install the Firefox Multi-Account Containers add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/ 3 - before the sale on Sunday, manage your containers (use this link within Firefox: about:preferences#containers, or right click the new tab button and then manage containers) and set up a f**king lot of them, I would go for 100 (tech advice from a very knowledgeable person is that 200 is likely to be where you might get flagged as a bot, so anything below that should be safe) 4 - again, before the sale, open a new tab in every single one of your 100 containers (right click the new tab button at the top of Firefox and then choose a new container each time) 5 - open the Glastonbury ticket link in every single one of your open containers - https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/ 6 - as you paste the link in, just quickly check that your queue ID is different in every container (it should be, but no harm in being safe) 7 - when the sale starts, ctrl+tab through your different open containers constantly, noting which of your containers are nearly through, and then buy tickets when you get through!!!! I had exactly 100 containers open and 3 of them got to the front of the queue in time to buy tickets. There are roughly six times as many tickets on sale on Sunday, so ratio might be better, but just to give you an idea of the scale needed to make it work today. Once you have put registration details in, it IS safe to refresh if it tells you tickets are sold out. It may pop up asking you to confirm form resend (or similar), say yes, that is safe to do and it saves you having to re-input all the reg numbers for your group

Still think the new system is fairer?

The bot detection is only running after the queue so it’s not flagging stuff like that

Not true, some people were blocked with "suspicious activity" messages when hitting the seetickets site pre-waiting room and during the waiting room.

Yeah. I tried using surfshark VPN and couldn't even reach the waiting room

I tried a couple of devices with NordVPN and only one got through (connected to a Berlin server), the rest got kicked out as suspicious

Just seen this posted

Apparently the code to generate queue-it links is in github so nice one seetickets for absolutely bottling it again this year.

So there’s roughly over 600 links here. I’d imagine more were generated like this too so it soon starts mounting up to a lot of tickets that have gone in this way.

You might live in some hope that the festival will see that list and be able to track those who used the links and cancel their tickets.

but I doubt it.

Yeah, I doubt they’ll be bothered anyway and probably thousands more that weren’t shared publicly.  But ultimately, using Bots to generate the URL, normal Joe Public have little to no chance.

So what's the benefit here? How are these queue ID in the spreadsheet any better than your own one?

Further along the queue.. you can see when your spot will be available in the page code on your browser.

Anyone waiting on the email, if you log into your SeeTickets account (if you have one) and click on orders, then import orders, you will be able to see Glastonbury 2025. It's not the email but it offers some reassurance.

We got a confirmation page, money taken, but no emails yet, doesnt find our booking on the find order, nor does it import. Anyone else in the same boat? Panicking a bit now!

Bit of a straw man there. Don't think anyone thinks they have a god given right to be there.

It depends how you define "fair" I suppose. It certainly makes it easier for people who maybe couldn't be arsed under the old system or gave up early or were half arsed about refreshing etc as the system is now passive and you just sit and wait. And the trade off is that for people who were determined and had multiple tabs and devices etc and were refreshing on rotation, that no longer increases their chances to the same degree as it's more of a lottery.

Consequently I'd guess there will be more noobs and I would guess young people getting tickets and the older veterans are probably less likely to get tickets. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, depends on your perspective. Great that more people will get to experience the festival but the other side of the coin may be that the culture of the festival shifts slightly to be more like other festivals. I wonder what that might do to the late night dance areas as well for crowding/ capacity issues.

Congrats to anyone who got tickets anyway. 2025 festival is 4 days after my wedding so will probably just make other plans now. See you in November 2026!

I didn't get them either by the way in case you think I might have.

I just don't buy into the notion that because somebody used 10 devices over 3/4 they deserve to be there more. Some people may not be able to afford 10 devices. That isn't the ethos of the festival when you're there but sadly just reflects the selfish entitlement some people have.

A lottery is much fairer.

Festival cancels these it sends the message out and means the resale pot is bumped up nicely … although don’t think they will sadly

There will be thousands on top of this list too. It sounds like these were freely available. But the other groups that were doing the same thing and selling the Queue IDs are not disclosed anywhere. Using a flawed queuing system just takes away that chances for ‘normal buyers’.

Maybe it needs as many as possible to, once the contact page is up and running again, report this to them.
