Ticket tips and Tricks for 2025 festival

The accommodation sale does not make it clear what the sale process will be and I've seen a few people ask if its still going to be the waiting room version. If it is, people will have learnt a lot from the main sales and SEE probably won't have made any changes (even if they are concerned). There may well be a few more stories about issues encountered and people trying a lot more devices / windows then they felt safe with before. I'm going to stick with the same basic setup when I try for a campervan pass, don't have enough kit or knowledge to increase it by much anyway. 

Its going to start at 1am for me anyway, so that's going to be fun!

I can't honestly see any reason it would change for the accommodation sale or the resale to be honest. They may make a few tweaks here and there for the resale but I imagine the Accommodation is way to soon to be thinking about changing it again.

Looks like the queue isn’t in use for the local sales. Maybe means it won’t be for Thursday? Or maybe just because they think demand will be lower?

Lots of F5 fun for locals. Felt like old times! 

The Inner Circle sold out in under 10 mins but managed to get tix for us, yay!

Multiple devices on WiFi with single browser and phones on mobile data. iPad on wifi got through 1st followed by one laptop.

Managed to bag Sunday tickets.

 

Got Al the way through to the payment and the payment section would load. Refreshed loads of times but no luck.

Looks like a common problem by some of the Facebook groups.

Thankfully our friends had our registrations on the page ready to go also and theirs loaded fine

Bagged two Sunday tickets and was checked out by 11.02am, if only the rest of it was so simple....

Same. We got through on the laptop and both phones at about 11:02. Got right through to payment and then got a message from my brother saying they’d already got them. I would love the main sale to be like that

Got 5 Sunday tickets - I expect these sales are so small they can’t justify paying for Queue-IT. Feeling more optimistic about the future as long as this old system stays!

Got 4 local tickets by 9:03 

 

Small scare after one card was rejected but second worked just fine and I will not have to sit at home in Glastonbury without going to the festival. 

 

The old system was like meeting an old friend, one that rubbish with getting the rounds in but is a great laugh when they're on form

I wonder if it's because the new queue can't deal with the zones for local sales? 
I'm happy as we managed to get tickets in the zone 2 local, so phew!

Well, it just checks that your postcode matches your reg (and the catchment area) when you get into the booking page. The queue is separate so it wouldn't deal with this bit. But I think maybe it wasn't worth arranging/paying for the queue when it was such a small sale.

 

I'm one village out of the Zone 2 local, the next village is a 3 minute drive and is eligible. Infuriating but I still got in for the sunday!

Well I only look at r/glastonbury_festival , not sure if the others have any other groups.
