I know plenty of people who will be trying on Sunday so I'll most likely be helping them,  just don't know anyone trying for a coach ticket so thought i should offer!

Thanks re: my wife, she is currently undergoing chemo for stage 2 breast cancer and whilst this will have finished long before June, it is likely she still won't be 100% so am planning a relaxing holiday later in the year 😀

Sorry to hear you're both going through some tough times.  Sending warm hugs and positive thoughts your way this morning 🤞

Doubt it.  It's essentially a ballot, so it's going to be eerily calm.

That's my take, too. Come the time tickets are on sale, there'll be nothing to do except stare at our screen(s), hoping it'll change as soon as possible. The idea that tickets may well sell out without any involvement from us at all will be jarring to say the least.

If it is the same as the Oasis sale then yep this is it...................... during that I cleaned the flat, had a shower, cooked and ate breakfast and even thought about going for a walk before my queue position got near the front.
It will feel very odd doing nothing during a GF sale.

I will be in thailand using my phone which is getting Internet from thai sim card I bought in Bangkok. Will this adversely affect my chances?  I will also try using my tablet connected to hotel WiFi if it is working ! So would that be better  or worse or same chances ? Or probably no chance as they will think I am fraud?

Anyone have a view as to how many physical devices on the same IP will trigger the bot blocker? Presumably 2 is fine, but 20 is too many..... Sounds like best plan is to use as many different locations as possible each with 1 or 2 devices (1 tab each)

You should have been pressing F5 on See Tickets for Oasis!

I'm just planning to have some tv on in the back ground and I'll know if something happens.

One question....in the festival ticket guide there was some advice that confused me....

"Once orders are being processed for all the tickets that are available, it will no longer be possible to access the booking page, and you will see a message that ‘All available tickets have now been allocated’. If you see this message, please refresh the page, as any orders which cannot be processed will be released back to sale."

I am assuming that this talking about when I am trying to process my CC transaction in the See ticket purchasing pages? If I am on the See servers, why would I refresh...wouldn't that just kick me back out to the rear of the holding queue? i.e., wouldn't it be better to just try backing up and then trying to purchase the tickets again?

I think it’s because at that point you are on a holding page on See’s servers and are no longer on the queue-it system.

Am I right in thinking that you only get 10 mins of f5ing before your token runs out?

I meant join the Glastonbury Seetickets link before 9am.

How long before should we visit glastonbury.seetickets.com? 5 mins, 1 hour, the night before, previous week? 😂No experience at all of buying tickets this way.

I’m no expert but there isn’t any apparent advantage in being really early, but I’m not taking the risk of last minute, so I’m going to try at 8:30 or so on Sunday

We don’t know the time the page that allows admission to the queue opens as yet … so guess Thursday will tell us that … imagine it won’t be an earlier than an hour pre sale but like you say there appears to be no advantage to 59 mins before or 30 seconds before … just don’t be after or you go to the back

so based on the bot-detection info would people say that's it's almost worth sacrificing one device to being blocked, by using multiple tabs/browsers, in the hope that it remains just under the high risk threshold? As from what I can understand there is no benefit to having your score as low as possible for better queue position, so you just need to keep it under the threshold and then it's all random at that point.

Unless I’m misunderstanding your question and the advice, my take on it is: when all the tickets for sale are sold or pending payment, you’ll get the ‘all allocated’ message. At this point, some of the sales pending payment may be rejected (failed payment, same registration details already have ticket bought etc), so some tickets will become available again. It says to refresh the ‘all allocated’ screen, because as soon as one is put back on sale, it’s a first come first served basis to who gets it.

But only refresh once that message comes up, before that and you’ll be put to the back of the queue.

I hope that makes sense.

Yes, 30 minutes presale seems a sensible time, but it won’t stop me checking it the night before and as soon I get up😉. Going to be so strange just logging on and then staring at the screen nervously holding a bit of paper with reg numbers etc at the ready in case the page appears!

Wishing your wife a speedy and successful recovery. I hope you are back in 2026! 🙏🏻
