I wonder if all those who complained every year about the old system will be happier with this one? Personally, i hate the change, i preferred the old lottery even though ive been unsucessful for the last 2 festivals

From a technology point of view is more stable, but overall the chances of getting a ticket have hugely reduced.

Genuiely rather a random ballot than a queue like this, your fate is effectively sealed within the first few seconds, but instead had to sit around for 40 minutes just to confirm what you could have been told straight away. At least on the old system, you felt like you had a chance right up till the "sold out" message appeared. Here it's all decided in the first few seconds.

The old systel rewarded those who were persistent and determined to get tickets, this system just rewards those who remember to log on early enough then leave the web page open

So if I understand the reports correctly, if you’re lucky enough to get through and purchase your tickets, you can refresh the page and go straight to the front of the queue again?

It seems like the original poster meant to say you COULDNT go back in, but made a spelling mistake. That's what it read to me like anyway.

There’s always a chance. Keep the faith.

Mate got through after 15 mins, both Wed and Thu showing as all tickets allocated with 6 reg numbers in, not having selected departure location yet, over and over again. Gutted!

Congrats to those who succeeded xo

So should the queue now be going quickly as people log off? Or is it completely deactivated now?

Seems to have frozen, so must be deactivated

Just opened the glastonbury.seetickets.com page on a new browser which I'd not used and it dropped me into the queue on 2 bars!
