Welp.  Same timeframe as usual for sellout, the queue just removes any feeling of agency in the whole proceedings as frankly what's displayed on screen doesn't actually seem to reflect any actual queue position.

My only grumble is that it should not let you through if its sold out. That bit of false hope is a killer.

 

Otherwise your fate is known early when your bar doesn't move from 2.

Did people who got tickets log early and get a good queue place, or did that make no difference?

Just watching two bars for 40 minutes seemed very passive, and the total lack of movement ultimately depressing. I found that I preferred the previous system because there was the perception that every refresh *could* get me through. It didn't, at least in two of the last three festivals, but I had hope. This time, I knew I was at the back of the queue and there was nothing I could do about it.

On one device after Weds sold out I decided to disobey and refresh - I went right back to where I was in the queue...................... but please don't try this on Sunday.

Learned a new lesson of the new tech today.

 

Turned on autofreresh extension to try to make a coach ticket stick (in with reg and trying to get a coach) of a sale not completed (this used to work). It recognised the autorefresh extension and blocked the browser.

 

So, don't use autofreresh extensions.

Likewise, was letting me select tickets to then be told all allocated. Horrendous

No difference whatsoever. Joined on my tablet at 17:26 and my phone at 17:59:58 and got through on my phone whilst my tablet never got beyond two bars.

Debit card can't be used abroad, you have to use a credit card
