Ticket tips and Tricks for 2025 festival

Missed out again today, I think my Glasto luck has run out as missed out the last two times as well having been every other year since 2005. I think am resigned to not ever going again, I didnt hold out much hope this t day either. Ticket system seemed to work OK and didnt get blank screen at all. Was always stuck on 2 bars. I think I prefer always being on 2 bars rather than seeing the bars move and teasing me that I was getting closer to the front of the queue to then miss out! Congrats to all who bagged golden tickets this morning!

I'm sorry but I'm not buying the 'it doesn't reward dedicated people' line. Everyone is dedicated in their own ways and this festival isn't for the same 150k every single year. Nobody outside of the Eavis family has the god given right to be there every single year.

Glastonbury is one of the best things about this country and is a cultural behemoth. Everyone deserves to experience it at least once.

what a stupid thing to say

In a state of shock. Had all but given up hope (got to 10 bars) when my mum messaged to say she was through. Phoned her up and had the most stressful experience while she makes paper notes of loads of numbers then has access denied issues and issues getting payment to verify, but WERE IN WITH ABOUT 2 MINUTES TO SPARE.

Only missed out on 2016 and 2024 since 2011. Someone is smiling down on us.

see you on the farm.

This happened to a friend of mine too.  Tried everything but it had obviously taken her to the wrong page for some strange reason

So infuriating - I've seen reports of it elsewhere too, and not just from right before it sold out.

Don't worry you will grow up one day and realise you're not the centre of the universe.

I didn't get tickets and still stuck on 5 appearances at the farm. Really wanted to be there next year for my 40th but not meant to be and that's life. Could be the last time I try too I think.

Emily has gone on record that she wants as many folk as possible to experience the festival and there is always volunteering if you want to make a more significant contribution to the health of the festival. It's a feature now not a bug. A lottery basically. Well done to those that got tickets to those that didn't it's not the end of the world and it will be a really wet one you are better out of  it !

No luck for me...didn't enjoy the process!

It will be interesting to see how and if the festival crowd dynamic changes because of this new system. In a weird way, it always felt as if we were being rewarded before for being Glastonbury people, that we had some small amount of control over the outcome...but now the ticket buying experience feels less interactive and I don't feel like the years of "research' and collecting ticket buying nuggets from here mean anything anymore.
