Yes, 2019, 2022 and 2024 with two kids.

In 2019 they were 8 and 14.

Any questions, just ask.

Cheers. How was it basically? Our daughter would be 9. We went before she was born in 12 and 13 and loved it but not sure if it is too party and drink heavy for her. Also as music is late starting it maybe not doable? Is there a kids area as such?

We loved it, hence the return visits. Our eldest even returned with a group of friends in 2023.

I can't remember seeing any areas that were specifically for children, but there are certainly areas that children would enjoy and they'd be welcome at. On top of that, you've also got the circus, beach and the roaming extra-large puppets that I'm sure children would love.

I think it's important to highlight that your daughter would be in a significant minority. There really aren't many other kids there at all. That said, everyone we have encountered have always been very respectful of ours and we haven't experienced any negativity around them being there.

We tend not to stay beyond around 1am (we stay in the city) so probably haven't encountered too many people off their heads and, tbh, mainland Europeans appear to have a far better relationship with alcohol than the 'lads, lads, lads' culture that can be witnessed at a lot of UK festivals.

Never seen any trouble, but can't say for sure that it doesn't exist. If it does, they must be very isolated incidents.

We love at, we will be back again in 2025 - tickets bought.

here's what we know from the leaks account

:

shawn mendes or post malone (or both) in the line-up

we have a grammy nominated female headliner (chappell, olivia, sabrina, charli are all possibilities)

Also Justice (probably co-headline or something like that?)

And we have this clue 🌍🚶‍♂️-referring to a song title and it's not a headliner.

I thought Last Man of the Earth by Wolf Alice was a decent guess.

Although not seen them announced for anything elsewhere so far.

Are you asking about best camping or where in the city to rent a flat?

In the city preferably, Any kind of flat or hotel.

Never been but missed out on Glasto this morning so hoping Sziget could be my big festival.

Try Airbnb, or booking.com. Aim to be close to the river as near to Margarit Island as possible. Train in and out is easy then. Further out, on Parliament Building side, and you're nearer the city centre but walk is longer at the end of a long day.

My guess is Leave The World Behind by Axwell and Ingrosso (or Swedish House Maffia, or whatever they are, maybe one of them).

any chance Bon Iver will be playing at sziget?

I've never been able to work out why he is considered a festival headliner. I think his music is completely unsuited to that environment. And I'm a fan, seen him a couple of times but couldn't imagine a headline crowd giving his music the respect and quiet it deserves.

Given they have only played one show since the end of the Blue Weekend tour in 2022, you'd think they'll surface sooner or later.
