Elbow, Bananarama (!) and Rag ‘n Bone Man announced so far for Hampton Court festival. More will be added soon.  It’s in early June 2025 and a lot of the acts often pop up at the farm. Wondering if Bananarama could make a nostalgia appearance somewhere.

In 2022 3 acts appeared but that's actually a rarity and I have a feeling that might have played a part with Glastonbury being off two years. The years surrounding it was usually just one act I believe in 19 and 23, 24 didnt have one I don’t think. So I'd expect is to be Elbow or Rag N Bone Man.

Yes, Bananarama played the Avalon 2019, I wasn’t there but I seem to recall they got a big crowd.

It was fairly big, not over spilling the tent but full.

I think there's a very good chance of RDS playing Glasto. Would go well on the Park or West Holts.

Definitely WHs I'd say. Given who the park have had recently I'd say possible but WHs is bigger and don't think they'd take less.

2024 did - Paloma Faith. Sure it varies from year to year but there’s often an overlap I think. We live really near HCP so often catch the gigs there. Will keep an eye on more announcements and share when I see it.

I put 2024 and then couldn't see Paloma for somr reason so yes it seems one act so I reckon they've probably cut down the amount of acts maybe they want to share. Rag n Bone Man would be my hunch with Elbow needing a break. They did the Pilton party and are virtually Coldplay without actually having headlined. 4 times over 11 years, 5 over 14 is big overkill on top of the party. We don't need 6 times in 16

Scissor Sisters reunion coming. You'd think there's a good chance of them at the festival. Think they'd go down well on Sunday afternoon before/after the legends slot.

Also, on the topic of the Primavera lineup, I just want to say that I think if they had to hit the panic button for a headliner in 2025 like they did with SZA, Charli XCX would put on a phenomenal headline slot and people would definitely head to see her. Couldn't see her being booked as a priority headliner, but let's say they get to March and Olivia cancels her tour, Charli would absolutely f**king demolish a headline slot at Glasto.

Not necessarily the right thread for this, but Doves are back - November 13th announcement.

Hopefully it lasts this time. I managed to catch them in Warrington last time out, before it went tits up, they were incredible. I'd love to catch them at Glastonbury

Saw this late yesterday.  I'm a huge fan and praying for a new album and a tour.  Really hope Jimi is feeling back to his best. 🙏
