My mates went on the tour and set it was insanely good. I was gutted to miss it. I saw their last GF performance on Other stage the same year (I think?!) and that was great, but I neeeed this Park set to happen!!!
The 3 punch combo of Forever I've Known, Grew Up at Midnight and Something Like Happiness was out of this world on the farewell tour to close out the show before the encore. I would love to relive it at The Park!
defo not the only factor, but seems likely it was a consideration
obv don't know the full situation but based on how it went down and the nonsense he was spouting about the bbc, it seems like the full blame was on Neil Young's side
yeah recent history shows that if they lose their targeted legacy headliner for the year then the replacement is often rubbish
