Victorious Festival 2025

Kendal seems to be something of a major for them so expanding that would make sense.

I wonder if having 3 more unique headliners or at least ones not playing other Superstruct events will encourage more people to travel to Victorious. When they shared headliners with the like of Kendal, YNot and Truck it does not make sense to travel all the way down to Portsmouth if other events are nearer with the same sort of lineup as they always share a lot of the undercard.

 

The more, I look at the lineup the better it seem's to look. Also, pleased I have tickets for Truck, so I don't have to worry to much about the placement of Bloc Party but would like to catch them at both if possable but will not choose them over KOL.

TBF, I'd just be happy to see a bit more diversity in the bookings for the northern festivals in this group.

 

 

Who knows. Truck is south but it's in Oxford so still a long way off being close to Portsmouth.

Am very tempted by this because of the Vampire Weekend exclusive show. Is there a comedy tent (or similar) or are the bands on the poster all there is ? Thanks.

As with most festivals, Good luck getting anywhere near or in it when bigger acts are on though

I've not much experience of this, when Adam Buxton talks about for example, I think, appearances at Latitude, he always makes it sound like it's a total sideshow, with him and 50ish people in a wee tent.  Not the case? 

 

Have always been amazed at Glastonbury by how close you can get to (in my opinion anyway) really quite famous/brilliant people at Crow's Nest events with a relative handful of folk in attendance.  I appreciate it's a massive time/energy investment to get to the literal top of a sprawling site.

Victorious comedy ‘headliners’ have 5-7k in attendance I reckon. It’s a really poorly situated tent near the common stage also with bleed from whatever is on. If you want to see the comedian you have to be 1-2 hours earlier.

Yeah, really does not work well. Also causes a bit of a jam with so many outside the tent  for headliners standing or sitting around blocking traffic between Common and Castle.

How much do we think prices will go up on the 8th Jan for day tickets? Tomorrow is the last date at the £70 rate (£77 with fees)? Mulling over buying some but with two school age kids I just don't know what our holiday plans will be come summer. Doubt I'd be able to re-sell them for full value if it doesn't sell out.

Sorry i took a while to respond, however i think others have quite eloquently explained the sh*t storm at victorious when trying to watch one of the larger comedy acts  LOL

I've signed up for the email, but nothing as yet. They'd normally have gone on sale yesterday.

Were on sale on the 8th last year (with notice given on the 7th). I suspect they are waiting for early birds to finish tonight before announcing so they can maximise profit on ticket sales.

Should we expect a clutch of acts to be announced after the end of the super early bird window or is it too early for that? First announcement was pretty substantial too.

Last year it was Jan 30th.  I would expect late Jan, first week of Feb for 2nd wave.
