To be clear, I've got no direct visibility of this happening, and don't know (or want to know) where to look for it. Just aware that the new system makes it far far easier for anyone who wanted to set themselves up to do this. And realistic enough to believe that people would do so, and that they'll find a market. -
That was an all dayer yeah, remember it well. Although funnily enough, I remember when the resale happened (in whatever form that was in 2004) so I texted a mate telling him and he replied "Great Ill nab one when I get home" and an hour or so later he logged on and got one. -
I can guarantee you they aren't scammers, at least not in the sense of them taking your money and giving you nothing. Glastonbury ticket revenue is a drop in the ocean for them and anyone that has managed to get themselves a reputation that allows them to be a "supplier" for such events isn't about to risk their reputation / income stream for the sake of bumping someone off to the tune of a few hundred quid. When that has happened previously and someone has done a runner with a customers money etc, they were usually reimbursed by other members of the group to ensure the reputation of the group wasn't damaged and that future customers could buy with confidence. I know you don't want to believe this activity exists, but it really does (Seems Incident can testify to the same as me) and pretending it doesn't only allows Glastonbury to do the same. -

Nah I think they’ll always aim big initially and only resort to smaller bookings if they struggle to lock down the mega headliners like they did this year and seemingly again next. Reckon ‘26 will be one new headliner (Ghost) and then two of your standard bigger headliners if they’ve already got stuff in place and aren’t scrambling for options. -
