I think it’s wishful thinking but keep trying to convince myself it’s not but keep coming back to it could well be haha

I mean, Pulp are meant to be around in some form next year, with both Jarvis and Mark saying as such in separate interviews, and back in the UK after skipping us entirely this year.

Where they end up - dunno.

I have been looking and looking and all I can see is this

It's a possibility, although the corners are maybe a bit more rounded on the logo. Don't go giving us hope!

I mean Pulp would totally fit with the claim for 3 of the most requested acts.

I reckon if Tramlines snare Pulp then Victorious will be the other one they share with. Pulp could probably just do Victorious though on the exclusive and their own venues with more money in Sheffield. I think Pulp though in Sheffield are way bigger than anything they've booked. I know Courteeners are a northern band but still.

They sold out 2 nights at the Arena very fast. It's also 30 years since release of Different Class in 2025...

I just can't quite fathom how The Reytons fall in as one of the three most requested acts if so.

Pulp, absolutely - surely first on any wishlist for geographical clout.

Kasabian - a reasonable shout too, even if demand likely peaked over half-a-decade ago.

But The Reytons? Bit of fudging going on there if so.

I think Reytons could sub Kasabian. Similar to Blossoms subbing Courteeners a couple of years ago.

I mean, let's be fair, you're not going to undersell it, are you?

"Oh, it's a bang-average lineup this year, lads, we've just only got one of the greatest bands to ever come out of Sheffield topping the bill as well as a former Glastonbury headliner and, for some reason, that bunch of blokes from Rotherham pretending to be about a decade-and-a-half younger than they are."

As long as they're not on the same day, I can live with it. Reytons can be avoided, 20k blokes from Rotherham, less so.

20,000 Blokes from Rotherham is my favourite film.

🤣🤣🤣 (apologies to anyone from Rotherham - I should qualify that it's the blokiness I find less appealing... errrrr, digging a hole here)
