this is a brilliant lineup if it’s true. only thing is that i’m a little unsure as to what Kaiser Chiefs have done since being booked 2nd from top in 2023 to earn the headline slot. regardless though, they were brilliant in 2023 and i look forward to seeing them. courteeners and the prodigy are 2 of the best crowd pleasing festival performers on the scene and fat boy slim is a great heritage act to celebrate the 20 years. very very happy with that.

To be honest Thursday night headliner is on that very borderline main day sub anyway.

2 of the 3 main headliners actually played Victorious as a Co-Head and a Sub last year.  Strange.

To be honest Victorious is 60k+ so much bigger.

I thought the same, but realised Prodigy are probably one of the biggest acts they've ever had, I just don't like them!

They definitely are one of the biggest. It's definitely a case though of keeping an eye on Victorious as I think they'll have them and they've got the bigger event to be able to go bigger.

I get the gripes re Fatboy Slim, but he will go down unbelievably well with a KC crowd

There is many djs that have stood the test of time to be able to sell like he has. He's actually at one of his highest selling periods currently and the fact thaf Victorious booked him, Latitude have and now Kendall have tells you he's not just getting a novelty slot.

I think he's going to get a very decent slot at the main biggie.

A very strong lineup but maybe to far away for me and expect a lot of the lineup to appear at other events nearer to me. However, if I had a ticket I would be happy enough with what's on offer.

I'm similar in the way of although not by much, Victorious is closer to me and it's just such a trek up there for it. Portsmouth is close enough to Bournemouth to make a longer gig of it. I've never been to the Lakes but it would take something decent to take me there that time of the year. My friend went the last full week in July this year and the weather was average at best and very busy. I believe kendal was a slide gest too lol.

I often discuss with my partner that we should go up there for a weeks holiday including doing the festival, but then it always turns out we never have enough spare annual leave. It needs someone fairly unique to be playing to justify the cost both monetary and in time off work.

I  wonder how much of the lineup will make it to Victorious as there is so much at Kendall my partner would love.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by the lineup but that's more to do with having seen the courteeners this summer. Appreciate it's the NW but feel they've spent a lot of money on them.

Guessing the prodigy will be opting to play everywhere and won't seem like such a coup once more lineups start to come out.

Depends on whether you like the new album I guess! I think its good, but then they might not play much from it at Kendal...

Glad I'm seeing them at Co-op to get the new ones on the actual album tour, and DMA's too of course, who I really hope get added once they work out their summer plans

I am feeling a bit underwhelmed with the line up even more so considering its their 20th year and the organisers have made a lot of noise about this is going to be the best ever line up for KC to celebrate this, after going to KC this year I would say at best this on par with this year line up...and this is more a ok/solid line up rather than an exciting line up itcould have been potentially.

I'm in a similar boat to be honest. Probably got 3 must sees on there really compared to like I can miss them currently.

To be honest I've learnt quickly this year as anniversary actually doesn't mean an awful lot. RAR are on their 40th and there is one day for me that I'd say is stellar, RW are on their 50th and they just announced a very disappointing act for that fest. Courteeners are just easy to book for northern festivals but I am have interest in them or their likely sub....I could listen to the Wombats though.

Interestingly, I've gone from not liking The Wombats at all to suddenly getting into them recently, and this will be the first chance I get to watch them since starting to like them!
