To be honest Thursday night headliner is on that very borderline main day sub anyway. 9 minutes ago, sisco said: 2 of the 3 main headliners actually played Victorious as a Co-Head and a Sub last year. Strange. To be honest Victorious is 60k+ so much bigger. 5 minutes ago, efcfanwirral said: I thought the same, but realised Prodigy are probably one of the biggest acts they've ever had, I just don't like them! They definitely are one of the biggest. It's definitely a case though of keeping an eye on Victorious as I think they'll have them and they've got the bigger event to be able to go bigger. chickenfire
Overall I'll take it. For me there's a lot of fun, decent live bands littered through the undercard. Fatboy Slim is a rough choice for a main headliner but The Prodigy make up for that.
Goer190
I get the gripes re Fatboy Slim, but he will go down unbelievably well with a KC crowd

He's actually at one of his highest selling periods currently and the fact thaf Victorious booked him, Latitude have and now Kendall have tells you he's not just getting a novelty slot. I think he's going to get a very decent slot at the main biggie.

DomDom1984
I might go back this time. Plenty of stuff I like in prominent positions.
Dales
A very strong lineup but maybe to far away for me and expect a lot of the lineup to appear at other events nearer to me. However, if I had a ticket I would be happy enough with what's on offer.

Portsmouth is close enough to Bournemouth to make a longer gig of it. I've never been to the Lakes but it would take something decent to take me there that time of the year. My friend went the last full week in July this year and the weather was average at best and very busy. I believe kendal was a slide gest too lol. I often discuss with my partner that we should go up there for a weeks holiday including doing the festival, but then it always turns out we never have enough spare annual leave. It needs someone fairly unique to be playing to justify the cost both monetary and in time off work. I wonder how much of the lineup will make it to Victorious as there is so much at Kendall my partner would love.
Sparticus
I'm a bit underwhelmed by the lineup but that's more to do with having seen the courteeners this summer. Appreciate it's the NW but feel they've spent a lot of money on them. Guessing the prodigy will be opting to play everywhere and won't seem like such a coup once more lineups start to come out. Depends on whether you like the new album I guess! I think its good, but then they might not play much from it at Kendal... Glad I'm seeing them at Co-op to get the new ones on the actual album tour, and DMA's too of course, who I really hope get added once they work out their summer plans
DSG2100
I am feeling a bit underwhelmed with the line up even more so considering its their 20th year and the organisers have made a lot of noise about this is going to be the best ever line up for KC to celebrate this, after going to KC this year I would say at best this on par with this year line up...and this is more a ok/solid line up rather than an exciting line up itcould have been potentially. Probably got 3 must sees on there really compared to like I can miss them currently.

To be honest I've learnt quickly this year as anniversary actually doesn't mean an awful lot. RAR are on their 40th and there is one day for me that I'd say is stellar, RW are on their 50th and they just announced a very disappointing act for that fest. Courteeners are just easy to book for northern festivals but I am have interest in them or their likely sub....I could listen to the Wombats though. Jason C
It's a great lineup, probably slightly better than last year, but would say still considerably worse than 2023. Not sure how The Prodigy will go down with the average Kendal-goer though 😂

I just don't think DJs are for me I have seen DJS in the past, who I have really enjoyed (Bicep Live & Martin Garrix- both of which put on an incredible show). I saw fat boy slim last year at victorious and found it very boring and we left and went to Jess Glynn . The mixes were very repetitive and the lighting show and animations were very weak compared to other DJS . Just my opinion, but I found it very ‘overrated’ as a headline show.
prefab
Booked my tickets without too much trouble, but I was a little worried to discover that all the Tangerine Fields camping had already sold out. Not quite sure what to do, since I don't live in the UK so I don't want to buy, bring, and set up my own tent. And I don't fancy paying £600 or more for a luxury yurt. Does anyone know if they'll be adding more tents?
DomDom1984
Skindred on Parklands seems such an easy guess. I think Turner, with the guest billing is on main. Maximo Park have said they're on there so I'd guess they're closing. I think The K's will get a decent main slot. I'm going for Scouting for Girls being the third. Friday: Courteeners / Frank Turner Parklands: Skindred Calling Out: The Pigeon Detectives Saturday: Fatboy Slim / The Wombats Parklands: Maxïmo Park Calling Out: The Royston Club Sunday: The Prodigy / The Last Dinner Party Parklands: The K’s Calling Out: Sports Team

Tixel is the reseller site, and you can specify which tickets you are interested in including accommodation. https://tixel.com/wait-list/join/e469423 Also some payment plans might fail so they will re-list them
