Muse surely not one in the mix, could they be?

Working out where they might turn up in the UK is a tricky one. Isle of Wight and Download were possibilities but both are now spoken for, BST Hyde Park is running out of dates, they don't seem to be in the Glastonbury chat, so could be a guessing game.

Probably too big for the festival. They sell out stadiums regularly so I doubt they will play to 25k. Be ace if they did though and I'd one million percent be there.

Tbf this festival does book stadium level acts now. So it's not a no imo.

Muse could definitely do it

Their selling power has dropped a fair bit recently.

Thinking about it, how many people saw Muse at Huddersfield's stadium last year? For football it's about a 24,000, but the venue itself claims they can fit more in for concerts.

If Lytham's 25k and able to book Timberlake, who I'm surprised isn't doing bigger, then it's still a possible match imo.

There's the rough and smooth of it. At their peak, no doubt they'd have sold out Milton Keynes Bowl, but there were tickets still available on showday - think they did 50-55k from what I heard, which tbf is still more than the 45k Chase & Status had at a supposedly sold out show (capacity reduced, perhaps?). The £95 ticket price probably didn't help.

Although granted, it sure as sh*t felt full leaving the Bowl after the show and taking the best part of forever to crawl out of the place.

I mean it clearly has their sales in the UK have dropped from a few years ago.

I think Muse just tour too much. I can’t think of many acts that play stadiums in May and June and then arenas in September and October.

I was surprised they did extra London & Manchester arena dates on the last tour tbf after the MK/Huddersfield stadium shows. But hey, I'm not their tour booker.

Given those weren't really quick sellers, maybe it'll be one or the other with stadiums and arenas on this cycle, likely for 2026 as I presume 2025 will be primarily festivals judging by the Norway show announcement earlier this week.
