I think they tried that when they had Biq Shaq open up with Man's Not Hot. KSI would probably go down as well as when they presented bbno$ as a serious artist in '21, with the crowd a little confused why we were watching a gimmicky viral dance challenge song.
Or as well as KSI and the Paul brothers get taken when they do these stupid boxing matches
Hmmm? What happened with Pearl Jam last year is not usual, it was an exception. Arctic Monkeys played NOS Alive three times, every one of them sold out, and everytime it took months.
I would have thought that I'd like them. They were a bit meh for me.
I have to agree with some other posters though, the 2nd Stage is normally pretty stacked. I thought last year was a bit of a mixed bag, but on (I think) the middle day I could have stayed there all day (and pretty much did)
In reality Oasis was always going to a disaster. Every single tom, d*ck & harry wants a ticket to that just as their mate says they were cool back in the day.
I love Oasis and always have/probably will but their fanbase would make me not want to go & in fact didn't try for tickets at all as it was always going to end up like that.
Full of morons into a couple tracks wearing stone island & acting the 'hardest' on the night of the show(s) all the while knowing very little music by the band they've been so desperate to see.
Also the amount of people that wouldve been jumping into the Oasis queue just to see what its like as its been sought after for so many years woudlve crammed this alone. Thankfully Glastonbury doesnt allow this with the reg sign up.
Second this.
Think Emily is brilliant and adds something really fresh to the band. Obviously Chester was the best to do it but I think they’re new music is the best it’s sounded in years.
