Green Man 2025

Looking at the All Point's East lineup announced today for August 24th, would be pretty happy to see any of Dry Cleaning, Nilufer Yanya or The Murder Capital at Green Man.

Would be delighted with TV on the Radio as well. There's lots of others at Primavera I'd love to see added as well (Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, Dehd, Cassandra Jenkins, Destroyer...) but obviously it's too early in the festival cycle to know yet if they'll be around later in the summer.

Fella from TV on the Radio has a solo album coming so wonder if a chance fr or TV headline and solo lower down another day...

Big fan of his new tune Magnetic - a definite summer bop! Absolute solid chance of him making the line-up I reckon.

I don't think there's been any indication yet that he's going to be touring his album, and besides if Adrianne Lenker didn't do a solo set when her album had been released and toured much more recently than Big Thief's...

A man can dream!

Has it been floated a potential The Cure headline? They seem to do whatever they want so doesn't seem out of reach.

Not sure if its been floated yet, and somebody of radioheads size would be massively out of reach, but what dopeople think of the chances of thom yorke solo set? Just saw the setlists on his asia/aus tour, would be unbelievable on the mountain...

Next year will be 9 years since Laura Marling last graced the Mountain Stage. The new album's had a lot oh hype so may be a possibility?

Personally I’d love this. I saw Laura Marling play her new album in Hackney last week and both she and the album were sublime, but I’m not sure if she’s what GM are looking for in a mountain stage headliner anymore, and I think she’s too big to play on the other stages or further down the card. Be interesting to see if Laura Marling does any festivals next year given her recent comments on touring etc.

Would Floating Points be in with a shout for Friday electronic/dance headliner similar to Caribou / Jon Hopkins?

Yeah, I've been wondering about Floating Points. His new album is great and would make for perfect Friday night headlining in the vein.

Basement Jaxx doing a London show the week after GM, possible Bicep or Jon Hopkins type slot?

They've already been announced for Latitude, which probably makes them unlikely.

MBV just announced a show in Dublin next year. Probably very unlikely but would be a dream FO slot.

Was thinking this but I'd give them the Saturday headline - Would be a huge get for GM but very unlikely as you say
