Rufus Du Sol have just announced a London date for next July.

Decent sized Glasto gap around some other dates in Europe. They did Gunnersbury Park last year - which I was annoyed to miss - so expect them to do something fairly big.

Got to be the best chance there's been to appear at Glasto.

Regurgitator were quite a big deal back in the 90's, Unit was a pretty cool album.

It's funny you mention them. They supported Weezer last year down under - the latter did two headline shows around a spot supporting KISS at in Sydney.

I was checking out hipster bars and got in late, alas, so missed them in the end. Then I missed them in a dive bar in Perth about four weeks later.

I saw them in Sydney 97 supporting The Prodigy (hottest gig of my life, had to get a plastic glass from the bar and have it filled with ice so I could use it like a nebuliser 😄)

And I saw the on the same bill as Tism in Brisbane 1998.

But, I also saw them at the old Fibbers venue in York (was full of Aussies) and the support was by the excellent Electric Eel Shock!

My word! There are some flashbacks in this post. Where was the Sydney venue?

Depending where you are, this bunch - from Adelaide - appear to be billed differently.

Last year, supporting The Corrs in Perth, they were Germein.

Back over here, supporting Tom Jones in Halifax, they were Germein Sisters.

Either way, think this is a cracking pop song.

Selina's at the Coogee Beach Hotel. The Big Day Out festival had been cancelled at short notice but as The Prodigy were already over is Aus this gig was arranged.

Selina's! A legendary spot. Was sad I didn't get over that way last year - just didn't quite work out!

Managed a few decent venues in Melbourne and Perth. Had to settle for the ICC Super Theatre in Sydney.

Whilst in Sydney I saw Blur at the Hordern Pavilion. Stereolab, Bentley Rythmn Ace and Public Enemy at The Metro (a fab venue!)

Heard excellent things about the Horden. A friend saw Midnight Oil there. Tried to get to the Metro Theatre but didn't line up.

I tell a lie, I also went to the Qudos Bank Arena, for Ghost. Cracking show, though a lot curtained off.
