Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Yeah, I can't wrap my head around it either. When it started popping up a little again in Europe this year, I was excited, but managed to miss it completely in the end.

With setlists mostly retaining static shape, think I'm at the point where I'm maybe only going to hear one live debut per show next year, if I'm lucky. I had just the three at Wembley #1 this year - but Priest is one I'd love to get next year if possible.

In what could be a hopeful sign for closing time in Milan next year and perhaps just more shakedowns in the setlist, but Vancouver and the tour closer delivered a stonker:

Spirit in the Night as an opener for the second night on the trot.

+ The return of Ghosts for the first time since Toronto #1.

+ Tour debuts for RamrodHuman Touch and Brilliant Disguise.

+ The seventh tour appearance of both I'm on Fire and Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town.

+ A third tour outing for Meeting Across the River into Jungleland.

I mean f**k, if we get anything close to that in Manchester (#3) next year, I'll be very very happy man.

Manchester #1 and Manchester #2, so really want to see if I can somehow swing Manchester #3 nearer the time. Not to be a pessimist, but think this is the last time they'll tour Europe on this scale.

This being said, I'd be more than happy for them to strip down to two-hour-and-fifteen, or even two-hour shows with a support act after this run, if it means it keeps Bruce and the band in good health to stick around on the road. But you've got to accept when it's time too.

Lights out.... "Can you feel the spirit? Can you feel the spirit now?"

Lots of audience participation... sounds great to me!

For me, he'll never top the version he played in Cardiff in 2013... this is audio only.

Not 100% sure just in case football matches move to certain mid weeks (unlikely, but the final Goodison match could end up on one of those gig dates if one of the teams involved reaches the cup final), but I think my Manchester night 3 upper tier tickets will be being sold so I can make use of my floor ones for night 1. That's my ideal situation anyway. I won't sell them until I've asked you, just remind me nearer the time

That's a very kind offer, thank you. If we both remember in due course - I cannot speak for you, but my head is like a shed - then I may take you up on it and supply a beverage of choice in return.

Might be happy to buy that second ticket if you don't buy both..
