A little uncertain myself. I work with quite a few Punjabi folk and they're also a bit non-plussed at how the guy is suddenly packing arenas. Kind of thing I'd be up for seeing but dunno if I want to lay out a fat stack on a ticket for it. -

Alice Cooper is still reliably daft fun these days. If anyone is off to the tour closers in London - I assume they're sold out, but you never know - then it is a hoot, especially if you can get tix on the relative cheap side. Unlike some other acts with a triple-guitar attack, there isn't too much difference in tone among his players, but nor is every song flattened into one sound. The gimmicks remain great fun though. A bit pared back from previous years, but still immensely silly. Took a mate who's never really listened to Cooper along - ended up with a spare literally the hour before - and he had a blast. Bought his first ever tour shirt at a gig, he loved it that much. -

Tried to get down to that at short notice and couldn't - but I think it was the same night as QOTSA at Halifax, so ended up there instead. (Not a bad trade-off, was a fantastic show.) Anyway, if Fender can nudge closer to the twenty-song mark, he's easily going to be touching on two hours. I assume his health problems may play a part in how long he can play though. -

Yeah, it's Fender. Don't think it's a soft Sunday booking. Imagine your rank-and-file punter will stick around for him rather than heading out early. But all speculation, of course.
