Shindig Festival

To be fair, after they announced that 2024 would be the "last ever", they did drop hints on social media that they were looking to come back.

I can't remember exact timescales on this, but I know that by the time the 2024 festival took place I'd heard that the "real" main reason for stopping was due to issues with the venue, and that they would likely be returning in 2025 on a new site. That was on the festival staff grapevine, and so fairly open - it wasn't an especially closely guarded secret.

Just saw an advert for Shindig, saying location & line up being released in January.

Did a bit of sleuthing....

There's premises licence application by Shindig for Charlton Park Estate in Wiltshire.

Well done on the investigative work, that's very interesting given that it was Charlton Park that (supposedly) evicted WOMAD because the new owner didn't want a festival..

Doesn't look like Shindig is the only one there this year either.
