How much usually does this festival share acts with Barcelona?

Usually most of the big names, like 60% to 70% of the Barcelona lineup and then around half of the undercard. Plus half a dozen of Portuguese artists. This time they will have Deftones that are not on Barcelona lineup of 2025. Let’s say if Primavera Barcelona is an IPhone Pro, this is the base model iPhone. It has the main functions of the iPhone Pro for less prize but it’s still not as Premium and doesn’t have the small things that Prima Barcelona has like special last hour concerts and the Ciutat names.

Righto. The names mentioned we are getting today above are pretty much all the things I loved from the Barcelona drop but didn't really like the line up as whole. So I am guessing I won't be to happy with the full Porto line up if it will be similar.

Also does Barcelona have more names to add?

Barcelona may add a handful of names here and there, based on cancellations, closer to the time but it's mostly set in stone now.

What is there now is probably 95% or more of what will be there next summer, though.

Its not unheard of to add a big name - New Order was a late addition one year - but it is quite rare, unless someone drops out.

Plus, if we believe the noises from the people who claim to have insider knowledge, it's on course for a sell out, so they wouldn't have any motivation to add extra names unless, like I said, they lose one.

Cheers for the info!

Well if you are into pop, then Barcelona is the way to go because I’m not sure that Porto will be getting the 3 pop headliners from Barcelona, but who knows? Regarding the middle sized names and the undercard at Prima Barcelona, I think it worse this year than in the previous years, so ofc Porto will get even less of that, so unless you really like Fontaines, Idles and this type of bands, you’re good.

Prima Barcelona will be getting boiler room names, Ciutat names that might or might not be new additions, but probably there will be some, and there is a strong speculation that there might be some big or mid names to be added to the lineup, but that we cannot know now.

Pop isn't really my bag. Wouldn't travel across Europe for it anyway.

Parcels are one of my fave bands and Fontaines, Idles, Turnstile etc are really up there for me.

Do we have any big faves/educated guesses as to the headliners for Porto?

I'd have put Parcels down as one of the poppiest acts on the line up 🙂

Happy with no Chappel and Sabrina. Lana del Rey fans ruined some concerts last year for me.

On the other hand, no LCD and no FKA Twigs is kinda disappointing, but excepted (at least for LCD).

Not expecting Haim and Wet Leg, so that is an awesome plus for me.

pretty good for my taste and for this price. looks like a good year to visit. fontaines dc, haim, beach house, wet leg, caribou, los campesinos!, dehd. lots of stuff i dig at the moment. i’ve counted around 35 artists i really want to see at barcelona, around 20 of them are at porto aswell. seems fair for this price and for sure lot less clashes here.

unfortunately i already booked the barcelona edition since most of my friends got tickets earlier.
