I think the lineup as a whole is very well put together. I just feel that there are no headliners other than Charli. I think it's better than 2024 because the lineup has a lot of good names as a whole, but there are no big headliners like last year. Very strong on Portuguese names btw

This lineup is going to make Barcelona to be sold out, mainly due to the lack of Sabrina, Roan, Twigs and LCD.

That's a great lineup. Deftones were incredible at Barcelona this year. Really solid undercard too

Deftones are charging £85 for their London gig alone. That's like above half the price of a Porto ticket. Just fantastic value really.

Agree how good the value is though in fairness the Deftones gig is more like a double header as Weezer also on the bill (and it runs for half a day).

Line up is excellent to me, the main one missing is Twigs, if I wasn't already all booked in for Barcelona I'd be well up for this as a much more affordable option, both tickets and the city. Michael Kiwanuka a nice addition too

I think there are 2 categories of people that are complaining. The first and the main one, is the people that wanted Sabrina, Roan and FKA Twigs, but let’s be honest that would be a bit of a stretch for Porto to have such big names, both in terms of money and logistics. 
 

The second group of people complaining, and I agree with them, are the people that are complaining about the price, 180€ may not seem much for people from outside Portugal, but in Portugal it’s a lot of money and the price will increase even further, in return you get Central Cee and Jamie xx as headliners, both already played at Primavera or others Portuguese festivals recently. I think having Twigs instead of Central Cee would give this lineup another feel.
 

I do agree this lineup is very consistent and is quite good, but 180€ feels a bit expensive. Also considering that Barcelona ticket was 250€ish when the lineup was released, plus it gets Ciutat, more boiler room names, Auditori and all the other perks, it does feel like Barcelona is a better deal, if you are already willing to pay more.

On the price comments, i just saw nos alive are selling three day ticket for 199 euros without a name dropped. So i guess 180 euros is not that bad.

Also i saw this on the official website:

” Next year, moreover, Primavera Sound Porto will resonate beyond the three main days: a closing party will bring the festival to its culmination on Sunday 15th June with a programme that will be announced soon. But now it is the turn of the over fifty artists announced today.”

 

So maybe a few more names to be dropped later.

The value is good for foreigners, not for most of Portuguese. 180 € at this moment is extremely expensive for Portuguese reality.

They informed about that extra day a few days ago, and that lineup would be revealed later. I am expecting more like Brunch Electronik like in Barcelona that a proper day with only electronic names.

Yeah, I wouldn’t expect very big names even if it’s a Brunch Elektronic.

You cant see a big name band for less than 50€

It was 65 euros for a full pass when it launched in ‘12.

 

But then all festivals have increased prices far above inflation.

I want to see how are they going to generate good sales for Prima Porto without big names, Charli is the only big name that is capable maybe to have one sold out day, but that is it. Central Cee is basically no one in Portugal and Jamie XX is not gonna sell tons either. I see a lot of fans from specific bands like Deftones and Fontaines might come to see them. Fontaines for example had a sold out show last week in Lisbon. But other than that, while last year Lana and SZA brought a lot of people, I doubt this year Charli alone going to do that.

I usually know Vilar de Mouros, Paredes de Coura sometimes, it depends if I cross paths with the person in question.

but i agree with you , besides deftones i dont see any big names that are able to draw a lot of people to be honest.

Vilar has been so sh*tty since last year. they had 2 great editions but completly drop the ball.
