Surprised about this. Had heard a few things about it moving to Wythenshawe Park. Great for Warrington that it’s staying put. 
 

Headliners will be interesting. Could see at least one repeat headliner. Courteeners a guaranteed ticket seller and three years since they last played. Or potentially Gerry Cinnamon.  
 

Could also see Libertines, Lathums, Lottery Winners showing up across the weekend.

 

Doves teasing something new as well

so could be a shout.

I'd heard that too, but I checked Google Maps, and I'd say that's definitely Victoria. Let's see what they've got!

Someone in the Instagram comments seems to think something in the audio indicates Gerry Cinnamon. I wouldn't know as I avoid anything to do with him. Anyone picking up whatever they're hearing?

 

I really want Stereophonics for this, if not I'll have to go to Huddersfield.

I can't see Stereophonics, more in the sense it would have been announced with the rest of their dates. Only reason otherwise is that this wasn't ready to go for one reason or another.

It does the European ones, they finish a week or so before, but you're probably right. We've hedged our bets by not booking Huddersfield just in case (as it'd be stupid to commit to travelling when this is so close), but to be honest now Blossoms are supporting I'm kind of hoping for the excuse to go to that! 

 

Kasbaian or Courteeners and Gerry Cinnamon is my guess

That's literally what happened to me trying to get away from Temple Newsam in the rain this year, with all traffic directed away from the M1 route 😂

Our one-way system was fantastic to locals and rotten to everyone else until two years ago.

 

Then we paved over the front of the railway station, and it became nigh incomprehensible to everyone.

 

I was living abroad when they did it too. Came home and immediately got lost.

I lived in Leeds for 20 years until recently. Yep, got completely lost.

I went to uni there and visit every now and then, I got lost ON FOOT and nearly missed my train when the works were going on

Sounds par for the course. It's madcap.

 

Leeds also having only one central train station remains fascinating. Believe it is the largest city in Europe without some kind of MRT hub too.

Not MRT hub - its the largest without any kind of rapid transit whatsoever (ie light rail, tube, trams etc)
