I’m pretty sure Gerry Cinnamon is one of the headliners and take your pick from the likes of Bloc Party, Libertines, Courteeners etc for the other. I personally hope for Catfish & the Bottlemen but I’m not sure given Vanns current issues.

Catfish got to be out just due to proximity to other shows, aren't they doing Heaton Park? Its not like its selling well either (i assume).

I’ve been having a think about this in excitement/anticipation of Fridays announcement.

It seems nailed on Gerry is one headliner, I’m hoping they pull a cat out the bag and have either The Strokes or Biffy headline the other night.

Other acts I’d like to see on the bill include White Lies, The Cribs, Reytons, London Grammar, The Snuts, Bloc Party, Peter Doherty, Fontaines, The View, Yard Act, Red Red Club, Keane, The Lathums.

I’m not asking for much am I? Ha.

The Strokes are more popular over here than they are in the States tbf. Indie music isn't at the heights as it once was but in America it's almost non existent.

They'd be a good choice I think and would definitely help shift tickets. Seen them twice and thoroughly enjoyed both gigs.

Wasn't it always the case that The Strokes were more popular here than in America? Same with the likes of The Killers and Kings of Leon.

I think Biffy would change the demographic for sure, but with Scottish people coming down for both maybe they'd get away with it for a year.

The Strokes ain't playing this. Doubt they'll play anywhere all year tbh.

I thought it was a real coup booking Pulp for this a couple of years ago. If they go down that route for one of the daya, hopefully they'll take a chance on LCD, who are definitely around at the time. Would 100% get a ticket.

LCD would be incredible. Been lucky to have caught them twice at Glasto and watched their set from this year on BBC which looked ace.

Not typically the type of act this festival promotes though. I'd imagine the headliners will be more indie / rock leaning.

Well......erm.....that's a massive anticlimax.

😞

James in 2025? Really? Is that literally the best headliner they could book?

I love Phonics but we already have tickets to see them at Huddersfield 2 weeks after this so that's a massive shame.

I thought I'd definitely be going to this. Turns out I'm definitely not now. 😂

I often get screamed at. But I never get how James are still headliners. I mean the acts that are out there they always feel like cheaper cop out options for headliners. Sunday look a bit of me. But I can’t see much point in going to the Saturday for myself! Anyways; I suppose enough £30 bottles of wine will make anything sound good

Yeah I could definitely be tempted to a Sunday ticket for this. It will probably be a similar price to a Stereophonics gig, plus The Lathums, Inhaler, CMAT and Wunderhorse would be a solid enough support bill

Oh for sure....Sunday is the stand out day by far. If I wasn't already going seeing Phonics two weeks after this I'd one million percent get a ticket for this.

Based on the Saturday, definitely Live at Leeds for me this year. Have ticket elsewhere for Sunday.

Having said that, it'll probably sell well - e.g. James just got a second date at the Piece Hall. I guess it depends how many already have their tix for James and Stereophonics at other venues.
