There's something quite admirable that in a world full of indistinguishable, mid-sized festivals, someone can just come along and in their first year bag one of the most notoriously difficult festival acts on Earth.

That would be quite the coup, though given BJ's roots, Newcastle's absence from touring plans always felt a bit strange.

If St James' Park having Fender and this can lead to more big gigs for the north-east not at the Stadium of Light, all for it from a travel and logistics standpoint.
