Aragorn
When do campervan tics go on sale?
Blownimpression
My wife & I managed to get tickets, fortunately through a would-be first timer, who yesterday decided against getting a ticket with us, but had beginners luck and got through at 9.17. It’ll be my 7th since 2013, my wife’s 6th since 2015 and our 2 year old toddlers 2nd (3rd if you count 2022 before he was born) Last year we stayed at WV, but probably go general camping this year, as we didn’t have any major issues last year, but the close carpark at WV was a major bonus with all the toddlers stuff. Hoping to pack lighter next year.

CharlotteB
It'd be interesting to do an official count up to see what the success rate is on the forum.

Seems like there might have been a higher demand for the coach sale this year because people thought it increased their chances in getting there. I suppose statistically it does. Of course, coaches reduce the amount of traffic coming through Pilton, but the amount of extra travelling that people might need to do to get to the coach departure points might offset it from a "green" perspective. Somebody get me Time magazine on line one! One year when I was desperately trying for coach tickets in the resale, I was literally prepared to go from anywhere. I had it all worked out. I would go away with my husband for a long weekend to wherever the departure point was, driving up on the Saturday. We would have a few days wherever in the country we were (there's always things to do, pubs to visit in any town or city) and he would drive home on Tuesday night leaving me to get the coach on Wednesday as he doesn't do festivals. Of course I worked this all out in my head without actually telling my husband and I didn't get coach tickets but got a ticket in the general resale. In 2013, I camped with someone who drove from North Devon, past the Glastonbury turning on the M5, up to Stoke, to catch the coach back to the festival. Some of those I referred to in my post were successful on Thursday. Now they're busy figuring out the logistics involved in driving from Manchester to get the bus from London. I'm sure there are dozens of similar stories every year.

Beerqueen
After a disappointing coach sale on Thursday, even before which I wasn't confident, I approached today's sale fully thinking I wouldn't be at Glasto 2025. Everything set up in plenty of time, and then at 8.45 my laptop froze. When I finally got in working again, after 9, I was gutted to see that it was still on the "the sale hasn't started yet" page. But, that was the one that progressed to 3/4 of the way along the dreaded green bar, ahead of my phones and tablet. But once again it was a friend of a friend that came through for me. As I said, I was fully expecting not to be there in 2025 and with it being a fallow year in 2026, and being over 60 I wondered whether I had been to my last Glasto. I tell you what, I am going to enjoy the hell out of it!

Got a bus from Street to Bristol. Then got a train from Bristol to Swansea. Met 2 of my mates from Newton Heath in Swansea at 2am. We had a few beers then got a few hours kip on park benches. We then got on the coach from Swansea, got our tickets and dropped off at the festival. My mates went in and pitched up, while I got a bus from the festival, back to my house, where I picked my car up and drove back to the festival. CantWaitForGlasto22
Still no email confirmation here either but money taken from bank account, have confirmation number, and can see it on See Tickets so not too worried (but would like it soon please!). We got tickets just before they sold out so maybe it’s chronological?
