still waiting though the lead booker did not get tickets until right near the end

We only just got ours - I wouldn't worry at all. If you got tickets, you got tickets. Takes ages every year. Won't be an issue.

I've had a tough time recently with my Mum passing away on Friday. I'd been her primary carer for the last few years and although I'd tried for tickets every year since 2017 it often felt like a relief when I didn't get them as there was a lot of organising to put into place if I went.
With everything going on organising to try for tickets was a bit last minute. We didn't even get a list of 6 people, just 4. One of those was with his Mum in London who had just had a heart by-pass and was waiting for a hire car to drive home (long story). Past experience meant that I didn't allow myself to get my hopes up but when the process started I was through the queue process in about 5 mins.
I actually got really emotional and was crying when I was able to share the news to the group. There was talk of divine intervention at play. It's been a awful week and there are plenty of tough things to come but I have this to look forward to now and it's a massive deal.

Bless you, I'm so pleased for you that you were able to get tickets. It's stories like these that are just great to hear. So glad that the festival is something that has delivered a bit of levity and light in your light at this time - hope you're taking it as easy as you possibly can at the moment 🙂

So happy for you!!

Had an awful f**king week also with mum starting Kidney Dialysis due to kidney failure. Getting those tickets yesterday felt like a massive relief, will make the bleak times to come over winter just that bit more bearable!!!

Lotta love xxx

I live in Compton Dundon, which is a couple of miles from Glastonbury town centre.

2 years ago I walked into Street. Got a bus from Street to Bristol. Then got a train from Bristol to Swansea. Met 2 of my mates from Newton Heath in Swansea at 2am. We had a few beers then got a few hours kip on park benches.

We then got on the coach from Swansea, got our tickets and dropped off at the festival. My mates went in and pitched up, while I got a bus from the festival, back to my house, where I picked my car up and drove back to the festival.

this is mad!  well done you!
