The "I'm Going To Glastonbury 2025" Thread

I'm in. Will be staying at home as I am only 15 minutes away.

Seems a little strange. None of my mates in Somerset got a sniff. I am at work in Taunton and never got past 2 bars.

All my mates back in Manchester managed to get tickets. Mine was secured via a mate back in Manchester.

Question - if someone else bought your tickets - do you still get a confirmation email - and do tickets get sent to the lead booker our sent out individually?

It always used to be tics were sent to registration address and not all to the lead booker?  And I am sure even though someone else bought your tickets you would still get an email conformation?

Ta

Everyone should get the email …. They do take time though patience everyone

Likewise … maybe confirmation bias a bit though .

Blimey, I can imagine. I suppose tickets allocated against previously locked-out registrations came back into the pool after the 10-minute(?) lock expired.

Congratulations! <3

Thank you! Yes, I suspect someone's booking was rejected so it freed space for us.

18/42, including us this year. Feels hollow at the minute.

To be honest I wouldn't call 18 even out of 42 a failure. I can't remember any year, even my easier years when I can think we would have got 42 tickets. FOr me though there is more a case of, I'm fine and okay with it.

Completely agree. I think anyone who got one group is lucky, anything over that then that is really fortunate given how many seem to have been completely unsuccessful

Yeah - wouldnt argue that. It wasnt a bad haul. Par with what we got last year, though i was lucky enough this time around.

I think we're just spoilt having had 100% success for most years.

I think we managed seven between us one person got through quite quick and sorted their group. Then my work colleagues who are all celebrating their 40ths next year got through and rang me as they had two drop out. Very very lucky with that one. And I shall apply for a carers ticket. Seven nurses I should be well looked after 😀

unsure why it changed above!

Do you know what email/postcode to use if a stranger bought your tickets please? I've seen booking confirmation screenshot and they've confirmed payment has been taken but no email yet and this doesn't find the booking with my details

Yeah. I put a post in a different thread that the only change I would mamek would be there is no chance to click back once you'ev had your confirmation. And I think putting regs in before getting in the queue is also a good idea as it means when you get allocated you know you've at least got there for that many people even if another purchase takes a ticket. That top idea though is the one for me. I was unsuccessful, 17 bars and sold out but I guess 4/5 bars at 9:10 tells the story, my mates never moved after 6.5 but I'm not absolutely gutted. Yes I will try in the resale likely but I won't be holding off from festivals surrounding close to it if they tick the boxes. I feel it's a fairer system but ultimately one that decreases my chances.

Thats the one I used. Tried my details and lead booker details but order not found. Just got to wait, I'm glad they shot the confirmation screen to calm my nerves

I thought it was the lead booker, it’s the order confirmation code it wants x
