We were in a large spreadsheet group and 2 separate people in the larger group (not our immediate group) got through to find that 1 selfish individual from

our group had purchased a ticket for himself (or via another separate group). Gutter, angry and heartbroken right now.

Yeah that's the kind of behaviour that I could never get on board with. Glastonbury can bring out the very best in people for sure but it also beings out the worst too at times and it shows you who people truly are. That's a totally selfish thing to do to people just to enhance your own chances of getting a ticket.

Went through resale in 2015 and 2023 (worked in 2019 after failing in initial sale).

 

All hands on deck for April. 🙂

Any tips for resale? How much harder is it? I’ve gotten coach tickets before as well as general sale tickets. Assuming resale will be much smaller pot than that of coach tickets?

Probably around 2 thirds of the number of coach tickets at a guess. Nobody really knows exactly how many.

I can do a walkabout in T&C performing my magic trick. I'll have to buy a new pack of cards and it only works 30% of the time but I'm sure it will go down well.

It's these horror stories which have stopped me going down the large group/spreadsheet options before but this year I bit the bullet as I've had to face up to the fact that just little old me trying for two of us is unlikely to be successful anymore. Sadly we didn't get through so I'll never know if the random people in our group of 6 did the dirty on us, or not. 

 

I'm in for resales though as I still think it's a better chance than going it alone.

Highly likely the dates will be 24th and 27th April 2025 - Easter is late, 20th April and the last time that happened the sale was on similar dates..

The dates are in my diary ready to help people who missed out.

Yep I'd say that's as close to locked in as you can get.

10th+13th is too close after the balance window closes.

17th+20th is out as you say.

24th+27th is the earliest realistic date, and they won't want to push it into May.
