Rose-Colored Boy
Make the most of the first two days. Have at most three ‘must see’ acts on Friday and Saturday. Two on Sunday because you’ll be knackered. Also fire up Spotify beforehand to listen to the acts on immediately before and after your ‘must sees’ - it’s the best way of accidentally stumbling on your new favourite band. Think carefully about whether you really want to see the Sunday Legend - it gets very crowded and the set is so long that it takes up a sizeable chunk of your final day, which could be used for exploring if you aren’t bothered. Set some time aside to spend in the Theatre and Circus fields. Practice putting up a tent beforehand. JayBoogie
If there's anything you really want to see/do, leave more time than you'd think Personally I avoid getting bogged down in sticking with the group, we all just kinda drift in and out and don't stress about it - but I do accept some people like spending time with their friends

Skip997
Don’t stress about seeing loads of acts and spend all your time running around like a mad one. Eat well, keep hydrated, get some sleep.

grumpyhack
Remember a) where you parked you car and b) where you pitched your tent. In both cases relative to things that don't move - like hedges and pylons. No point thinking I parked next to a big red van, because it might have left before you go to hunt out your car. No point thinking my tent is next to the big blue one, because when you return at night there might be a dozen more big blue tents.
Dark Star
Allow some time to fully take in the green fields, maybe try some crafting, get a massage, have a chai from one of the tea tents, see a couple of the smaller acts in Toad Hall/Small World/Mandala. wairey
Explore the site on Wednesday to get your bearings, either through a bar crawl on non alcoholic alternative! Once the music starts I found myself seeing less of the wider festival on my first time Second tip would be to plan early if you want to see an act in the South East corner, its gets very busy so can help dipping away from a headliner early or seeing one on West Holts which is closer Edited 2 hours ago by wairey

bamber
Drink a little too much cider on an afternoon and end up missing everything you planned to see, instead spend the next 12 hours rambling bullshit with the new BFFs you met a the cider gaff until 6am at a venue you will never find again. Large groups are constantly waiting for people getting food, drinks, going to toilets and politicking about what to see next/ later.

Talcroft
Don't look at or read too much beforehand - keep some surprises for yourself. Wander, accept you'll only see half the bands you want, accept you won't see everything. If you leave thinking you've 'done it', you definitely won't have. grumpyhack
Camp close to where you are most likely to be at the end of the night. It can be a long walk home in the dark when you are tired and emotional.
