Can we camp in tent next to our friends campervan ?

So a few years back we camped on our friends campervan pitch at Bath and west showground  with our tent (Glastonbury 2017 i think) they had a large pitch for thier van. We will try again for a pitch here with them this year but just wondering whether the same applies to the other campervan pitches on site - do any allow a tent as part of the campervan pitch ?

 

So happy btw to have secured our tickets - still on cloud 9 😃

Yes but it has to fit in the space allocated which is smaller than B&W.

Well done on getting tickets, that's the greatest hurdle!

 

Standard pitches in East Campervan Fields are only for campervans/motorhomes 8 Metres and under. As you mentioned they had a large pitch in Bath and West  I suspect they have a motorhome over 8 metres long? Or maybe they have purchased a smaller motorhome since their last visit?

Camping behind a campervan/ motorhome is allowed in East Campervan Fields but is very much subject to space. Shout out if you have any further questions. 😊

I've done this in East Quiet before, I just made sure I was pitched close to the CV to take up as little space as possible.
