Campervan East vs B&W Showground

It's likely I won't be able to arrive until Thursday lunchtime. Preference would be to stay in campervan east but will likely be in E14 if arriving on Thurs. This would involve a big walk to site! 

 

For those who stayed in both , would B&W Showground be a better option than campervan east if arriving later on a Thursday?

Bath and West involves a Shuttle Bus to Gate A. East Campervan Fields are just outside Gate C and if you manage to get an East Quiet pass you will be closer to Gate C. By Thursday they are usually filling gaps in already full field so you could get lucky.

I have never stayed at Bath and West but I have read a lot about it. Some love it because it's quiet and has proper toilets and showers. Some hate being away from the action.

I know I would hate it so I will be back in East Campervan Fields next year! 😄
