GhostOfMaurice
There's a Welsh band called NoGoodBoyo that I'd like to see at Glastonbury. They'd be a good fit, I think.
TheBoz
Love threads like this. High Vis are my contribution I don't think have been mentioned yet. They blend a genres between punk and some more indie melodies. Would have been perfect in WG, but could also work on the Truth stage. I didnt get there till MP myself - but heard rave reviews about their performance.

Woodsies line up in 2023 was solid too with Murder Capital and Shame on early.

YEah I was at the MC - Shame double header it was brilliant - if not a bit Sweaty - Left a few friends all but passed out in the shade of the hedge row while a few of us went in. To be fair on High Vis - though they were on the poster they are probably small enough to get away with doing 2 in a row
CantWaitForGlasto22
Enjoying listening to Our Girl this morning - thanks for the tip @CharlotteB Caught about half of Big Moon’s set in ‘23 and really enjoyed it but had sort of forgotten about them, which I now feel bad about! Hopefully either (both?) bands there next year

They're a great band. Adore, who are supporting some dates, are worth a listen too. So many great bands out of Ireland at the moment. Saw them on Leftfield last year and they were brilliant. Now won the Mercury prize for their debut album. Really hope to see them back next year on a bigger stage. Woodsies maybe? The K’s - their set early at Woodsies was one of my favourites in 2024. Indie rock. High energy and some really catchy tunes that get stuck in your head. Again, hope to see them back. Don’t let the silly band name put you off Wunderhorse - saw them in 2023 in a similar early Woodsies slot to The K’s last year, and have seen them a couple of times since. Indie rock. They are supporting Sam Fender at the O2 next month, and their second album is now out. Really hope to see them on The Other stage maybe? Seems like they are ready for a bigger stage. SPRINTS - mentioned above too but agree they are worth checking out. Hopefully on a bigger stage than Leftfield next year. 49th & Main - caught these guys in an early slot at the Acoustic stage of all places in 2022. Indie pop duo from Kilkenny. One of my favourite sets that year and have listened to their music a lot since. Would love to see them back again. They’ve released a new album and EP since then so would love to see them back on the farm. Very much agree on English Teacher, SPRINTS and especially Wunderhorse, one of my favourite bands Although they are headlining Ally Pally now so not sure how much longer they can be considered a smaller band, definitely would expect to see them on a bigger stage or very high up on a smaller one
panda97 Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Adding some names I don't think I have seen mentioned in the thread yet Spanish Love Songs - Midwest Emo/Punk band, I don't think they've ever played before but put on a great live show. Tommy Lefroy - Indie Pop with some minor folk vibes. Crawlers - Soft rock band from Liverpool. Played Left Field in 2023. Friko - Phenomenal indie rock band, remind me of Arcade Fire. Have only played a handful of UK shows. Their album from earlier this year is one of my highest rated albums (of 500+ new releases I've listened to) Lola Young - R&B inspired pop artist from South London. Again, another one of my favourite albums of 2024. Played Glasto in 2022 on Silver Hayes. Big Special - Post Punk duo, they did play Left Field this year though.
