Vera Sola, a thank you radio 6 discovery. 

Deadletter , festival discovery of the year, met band , became obsessed.

The Mysterines, don’t know what’s happened to them, just disappeared,very sad. Hope they’re all well and back soon.

 

I completely forgot about the Mysterines album- this year at the start they were meant to release a second album and really push on - but instead it seems the oposite has happened - they cancelled all-there dates and then seemed to completely disappear. Does anyone know whats happening - will they be back.- or is this it.

As you might have seen on the '2024 new music' thread, i've listened to a looot of music this year. It's been a really good year for music imo. Here are my top 100 albums of the year. Took a lot of thought to make this end of year list!

 

I might make a spotify playlist with a song from each album + share it here.

Did the playlist of 1 song from each of my top 100 albums. It's in order from 100 to 1. Working tomorrow so I might stick it on all day! Have a listen, you might find something you like on there.

Finally a bit of love for Deadletters album. I agree it's an absolute belter!
