FFS.. This is a bit hit for the festival it's shows that the changes being made are good...

Looks like a slot for some solo or band that's only had 1 or if you're lucky 2 album's out.............,.............,.my point is I believe headliner's should have a really good back catalogue

Apparently she got rid of her bed and now sleeps in a paddling pool full of bank notes. Make of that what you will.

Makes it sound like the scene in The Wolf of Wall Street where they have a bed topped in banknotes.

Something that apparently lead to Margot Robbie getting paper cuts all over her back, which - ouch.

To be honest I think the festival should be looking for other broadcasters or at least open it up for competition. The BBC relationship has got a little bit too comfortable and the BBC news behaviour over their coverage of recent world events makes them no longer an impartial or trusted broadcaster.

The BBC are a disgrace. How can Glastonbury allow them to dictate what artists do?

Presumably there’s an agreement that the BBC shows coverage of the Pyramid headliners, and for most artists that coverage is part of the appeal given the well-known relatively modest fee they get. Obviously NY feels differently to most artists, and is sticking by his principles, but I don’t see any disgraceful behaviour from any side

And who would you suggest that fulfils those briefs ?

Is it possible that the festival/BBC were seeking to influence his set list? “wanted us to do a lot of things in a way we were not interested in"

It might just be that they wanted to know the setlist and timing ahead of time so they could plan their shots.

Neil Young probably unhappy with having to run to a time sheet and plan. He does love his 15 minute solos and outros.

Goat are playing West Holts.

Potentially subbing, not 100% on that bit, but definitely playing. One of only a few UK dates next year.

C4 could do it. Today is the bbc really any different from the other lot anyway.

I’d suggest the coverage would be nothing like as extensive as the bbc . For all its faults and some of those being political and board appointed the bbc absolutely provides unrivalled coverage and the likes of some political parties would love to see it broken up . Whilst the festival maintains  significant success and charitable contributions due to that coverage
