NY has a tendency not to pander to the casual observer, although I should imagine Glasto will be more user-friendly than his own gigs Saw him solo a few years ago and he did 3 hours, first half was acoustic/70s type stuff and the second was 90s/electric. It was immense. Mainly bangers with some new stuff and obscure songs if he did a 90 min version of that I’d be well happy

Some folks get really weird when they get older. Cypress Hill are on my bucket list, but not with an orchestra, FFS it’s hardly Hiphop

They're essentially just Promise of the Real and those shows featured a good mix of his catalogue! The band he played with in 2009 ("the electric band") were similar in style, and they managed some 30 - 40 minute jams (albeit not at Glastonbury - probably for the best!) (for those who remember the words of sweet home Alabama}! No bad blood there. Loads of myths around this topic, but ultimately they were friends afterwards. Neil wrote about the incident in his (first) autobiography, expressed some regret about Alabama, one of the songs that triggered the famous response.

Don’t think there any members who played on the 70’s stuff still alive other than Artimus Pyle, who’s a convicted nonce

Trust him to outlive the others. I do recollect they made up after the initial argument @judyblue110, saw them a few times decades ago, once supporting Deep Purple and they blew purple off the stage.
