Who will you see - Neil Young or Charli XCX

As the title says - who will you see based on Neil Young (Pyramid) and Charli XCX (Other) supposedly clashing.

Some of Brat was great but I don’t really get the Charli hype. Some of NY’s stuff sounds good too but I’m not thrilled by either. If they’re up against each other, I’m just thankful for fewer clashes 🙂

I have no interest in either so I’ll be elsewhere. Massively underwhelmed by any of the rumoured headliners to be honest so it’ll allow me the opportunity to explore.

Don’t mind NY, he’s got some decent tunes, but not as a headliner. If he was doing the Legends slot I probably be there

Same! if its Sunday I'm ok with that too. Enjoyed watching The Feeling at the Avalon this past year, something a bit smaller and more chilled, followed by the Avalon Inn for a couple of hours.

Neil for me.  Didn't see him in 09 so it's not a repetition, and as much as I've tried I just can't get into Charli's stuff.

Would’ve liked to see Brat-Era Charli, but seen her a few times before. She’s fine.

 

Neil is legendary, struggle to think of many I’d see above him. All day, no contest.

Festivals are meccas for us middle-aged folk to watch acts it might feel a bit weird to turn up to at their own gigs. Where else would you watch Charli?

Possibly Reading if I end up volunteering there when she inevitably headlines in the future. Primavera for some, otherwise I definitely wouldn't be going to her own gig!

I'd love to see Neil Young but given my friend group including my GF would go to Charli, I'm not sure I could go to Neil.

 

I'm not averse to enjoying a gig by myself, I do it all the time in the day time but for a headliner I find it's far too hard to get on the same level as someone who's been to an electronic act vs something slower like NY and that's if I can find them! Would probably be the end of my night

 

I wish he was playing the legend slot
