Definitely Neil. Loved him for many years, never been fortunate enough to see him live. Have already seen Charli, in John Peel 2015 with my then 12 year old daughter. No contest for me. Also, whilst I’m far from a Pyramid hogger, I do like to go to at least one Pyramid headliner each festival, and I’m not overly keen on any of the other existing rumours for this year.

It makes you wonder if they do this sort of thing on purpose to get clicks and build up hype 😹

Never really heard much of Neil Young before his 2009 appearance. When he was announced then I went through his back catalogue and has become one of my favourite artists. His 2009 set is my favourite headline set I’ve seen on the pyramid so when he was heavily rumoured I was over the moon. His post a couple of days ago saying he was going to play but has pulled out was gutting. I tried not to get my hopes up when he was rumoured but then for him to come out and say that was gut wrenching. I’ve literally seen the update 15 minutes ago and I’m absolutely buzzing now. Cleaning the kitchen with Mr Young blasting away. Will be at Neil 100% and I might even get in the pit for it, never seen a headliner from there before

….. I’ll see you there. Pit not really comfortable or practical for the likes of McCartney, or Elton, but suspect it will be doable for Neil. Depends who I’m seeing just before him though.

if I had a ticket, I'd be looking at the other stages. Sick and tired of 'Pop Princesses' that sing through auto tune and all sound the same as one another, and I find NY boring as hell.

Some friends went to see Lorde a few years ago. They were pleasantly surprised/relieved to be surrounded by people of roughly their own age.

It slowly dawned on them these were all the parents of the young fans down the front

Not done the pit for a headliner but did Lionel Richie legends slot there, was a brilliant experience so go for it!!

Saw Charli in 2017, not a fan so could swing by to see what all the fuss is about since I last saw her.

If Basement Jaxx is same time, I'll be there - even though I'm due to see them a couple of weeks later at their own show.
