Definitely Neil. Loved him for many years, never been fortunate enough to see him live. Have already seen Charli, in John Peel 2015 with my then 12 year old daughter. No contest for me. Also, whilst I’m far from a Pyramid hogger, I do like to go to at least one Pyramid headliner each festival, and I’m not overly keen on any of the other existing rumours for this year.

That was a great show. I preferred the full band stuff to be honest!

Resale permitting, Charli.

They should swap the stages, it's going to be almost as bad as Avril vs Janelle for the current demographic.

thatll be the big issue during the fallow if theres an incident. Emily wanted to do this favor for her father and then decided to not care about safety and literally allowed the headliner of the evening be in a space thats too small. They still arent learning their lessons cause they trust human beings too much.

That being said, not seeing Neil Young but will wait on the other options Charli aside since I can just see her in April with proper guests and stage placement anyway.

Charli isn't even announced yet - nor is the schedule for every other stage.

Far far too early to say this. A dance act on West Holts / Woodsies and a fairly mass appeak indie act somewhere and it will be completely negated.

I’m sorry, but in my humble opinion this is complete and utter tosh. Not to mention mildly libellous.

Mate, it's Charli XCX, not Madonna.

And you have no idea what else will be on or even if her and NY will clash.

Honestly I’m scared.

They might need to employ the US Military to cordon the field off - the UK/EU military capabilities won’t be enough.

There’s going to be millions of people trying to get into the Other Stage field - it’s going to be a humanitarian disaster. We’re going to look back in years to come at this.

Anyone who thinks it is acceptable will hang their heads in shame when the death toll is revealed.

I was in the pit for Neil Young in 09 and I’ll be in the pit again this year. He’s one of my all timers so it’s a no brainer for me. I’ll most probably go and see Neil on his on shows as well dates permitting, but would still see him at Glastonbury. Can’t get into Charli xcx at all so I wouldn’t be missing much.

Neil young was excellent in 2009, one of my all time favourites

Go see him whilst you still can

This, and I only knew a handful of songs at the time. Was incredible, still gives proper tingles when I watch it back.

Also think Charli is great - would love to see both but we've got tickets to Lido so will catch her next summer regardless.

If they end up not clashing somehow, even better!

Gone for Charli, but tbh totally up in the air. If Underworld are confirmed for Park and I'm not working, I'll be there.

I've had Saturday night shift the last three years so seems reasonable I'd get that slot again, sadly.

Know he’s iconic, but the way he’s handled the press over the last couple of days has left a really sour taste… felt almost like blackmail to me… throwing his teddies out the pram good and proper, only to do a u turn when he (supposedly) got his own way?

Justified guerilla tactics in my book, since we'll now get to see him.

I’d still be in two minds

I’m a fan of Underworld but found their WH set somewhat underwhelming

Did you see them on most recent go round? Tour set in April was excellent... They could just do an abridged version of that (I liked the 'set of two halves', but they'd need to be careful in a festival set they didn't lose people by starting too slow).

At the moment, Neil.

Would like to see Charli too, but I dont know how many more opportunities there will be to see Neil.

The only reason I hesitate is that I've seen him play a few timesbefore, as recently as this past summer.  The show was great!  And i'd happily pay to see him again.  Charli's show isn't one that I'd pay for what she charges, so it's an opportunity to avoid that.
