Depends how old you are and what you get up to in Glastonbury. If you only care about music and getting drunk then you might have a better time in T in the Park especially if all you do in Glastonbury is stage hop to catch the bands you want to see.

we have been going to T since 97. seemed a great place to be and it was up untill about 01-02 now I find that the neds are everywhere. the festival itself always seems to pull a good line up but it always the same old story everyone on at the same time. since we started going to Glasto in 03 I would consider being at T is like camping out your own back with music on. T is ok but nothing more

Glasto is the place to be. I am going to T this year but only on the sunday to see Hardfloor

well this is my 2 bobs worth anyhow!!!!!!!!

I was very tempted by T in the Park last year -- lineup was good, and I was attracted by those late Northern sunsets.

But then I learned it was a Reading style "boot you out of the arena and into the camping area when the night is over" affair. Is this correct? That was the main reason I didn't go.

i haven't been to T.

but i have been to reading (it was my first festival and i loved it!) but as soon as i went to glastonbury i realised it could never be compared to any other festival.

glastonbury wins. it's the best thing in the world and everytime i go i come back feeling like some massive positive change has happened in my life. no other festival can do that to you.

I've been to both. T does have great lineups, but I wouldn't ever want to camp there again. I might get day tickets and travel there both days from Edinburgh if I go again. I just didn't like the vibe in the campsite. And being a gay couple, we felt like we had to look over our shoulder all the time. That doesn't happen at Glastonbury. :-)
