South Park is cunningly amongst the cleverest comedies on TV behind the ruse of being incredibly infantile. It's genuinely quite thought provoking alot of the time.

I also think that it gets better with each successive series. Imaginationland was probably the highlight so far.

i completely agree. I think it's so interesting how south park very much did start out with a lot more jokes based on swearing, things coming out of ass's, animals with lots of ass's, whatever, and to see it develop into this really fantastic social and political satire. Parker and Stone have become comedy writing genius' before our eyes over the last 10 years or so.

thats because south park didnt overdo it IMO, if it was family guy who had done a similar sketch it would have gone on for about 2-3 minutes
