Some of the last few series of South Park have contained episodes that have been plain dull - the Britney Spears one springs straight to mind. Some have really felt like a choir to watch. At least with FG an episode can have a less engaging plot but still deliver piss-yourself-laughing jokes.

Dial Meg For Murder was really good in my opinion. Brian's Got A Brand New Bag was f**king hilarious as well.

The first few series of Family Guy were excellent because when i first saw them the Simpsons had been stale for years and i didn't have a decent enough internet connection to stream videos. Family Guy's got stale, the old episodes aren't funny anymore and the new ones try too hard. American Dad is much better.

South Park is clearly the best though :P

definately nailed it, family guy captured that magic that simpsons had lost in being funny and telling a story at the same time. Now it's almost become too aware of itself, breaks the fourth wall a lot, and really got found out after south park spent two episodes tearing it to shreds, to the point where they started acknowledging the flashbacks. Also they ruined stewie, as the psychotic boy genius hell bent on world domination he was a character, now it's just gay joke after gay joke. It's not bad, but it's not must watch tv anymore.

Speaking of futurama, did anyone else see the news that a film studio has bought the rights to "Space Invaders and think "Instead of shooting where I was you should have been shooting where I was going to be!" :P

First episode of season 14 airs stateside tonight:

The nation’s top scientists come together to put a stop to the recent phenomenon of rich, successful men who suddenly want to have sex with many, many women. After extensive testing, some of the fourth grade boys in South Park Elementary are diagnosed as sex addicts. It is shown in teaser pictures that Tiger Woods will appear in the episode as well as David Letterman, Bill Clinton, Billy Bob Thornton and Michael Douglas.

That was episode 196 btw, and I read the other day that they've already got episode 200 planned: instead of just doing a lame clip show like other shows would Matt and Trey are bringing back everyone who's been in southpark who complained about it to sue the town of southpark, specifically including Tom Cruise

So basically we're in for another bout of scientology baiting? Can't wait :P
